It was so crassly manipulative, Walt ok then oh dear bad stuff happens to Walt because of the meth. Up down up down. Because METH is Bad people.

And he is so so vile in his white underpants. WHY did we have to keep seeing him in his pants?

Yes I love it when he gives you 'the look,' when everyone else is yammering on...another actor would make thus look hammy but Spacey does it and you are suddenly a co-conspirator.

I started watching Breaking Bad back when the first season came out, and never really got into it. I was really suprised when all the hype started around the last couple of seasons and thought I'd give it another go. I guess it's an ok show, if you like that sort of thing, but it is not amazing TV.

It's not just that the characters are unlikeable, a lot of them are pretty one dimensional too. I found it really difficult to get invested in them and basically just didn't care if they lived or died.

I know a lot of people act like it was really clever TV, but I don't think it was. I definately agree with the whole "Emperor's new TV show" description of it. I think a lot of people go on and on about how wonderful it is, just because everyone else seems to. Glad it's over tbh.

Orange is the new black is amazing BTW. And (imho) a much more realistic representation of crime/drug culture.
