I've just sent a picture of my boobs to my FIL.

I'm not really a flasher-type person (aside from in Tescos, clearly) however my OH likes getting the odd boob snap. I've only ever done it once before.
I'm working away this weekend and OH is pining so I send a quick snap, nothing fancy - just my knockers.

But I haven't sent it to him, have I? Oh no, because that wouldn't be horrifically embarrassing. I instead send it to FIL, similar first name, same surname, text message above OHs.

I can't think of a solution but to go and hide away forever. AIBU just to never see PIL again?

Any ideas how I can salvage this?

My dh sent one almost as bad meant for me. To his Mum (my mil). Who is 73 and quite Prim and proper. And sleeps in separate rooms to fil. There is a reasonable probability that the last time she had sex was conceiving dh. It said:

'the trouble with you looking so hot is that it makes me want to fuck you'

I'm shaking with laughter remembering his face when he realised I hadn't received said message....

I text dd 'miss you xxx' earlier tonight - it was meant for dp. Just as well it was only that and not 'miss your huge...'

If it makes you feel any better I once texted my OH who is in the Navy and I hadn't seen for a good while a description of what I was going to "treat" him to when he got home that weekend including anal activities etc.

But accidentally sent it to my dad.

One New Years Eve we were at my parents. Df and I were texting back and forth (whilst in the same room) - as you do. Just stupid chat, like an in-joke thing because we were in a room full of people.

Df was trying to make me laugh...so after a few failed attempts he sent me the most filthy text, full of graphic descriptions of what he was going to do to me later.
Along the lines of 'I just can't stop looking at you you're so fucking hot, i'm going to...' etc.

Except he didn't send it to me. He sent it to my sister, who was also sitting in the room with us (almost identical names). I can still remember watching him flip his phone shut and grinning at me, then hearing the 'beep' of a text on my sisters phone and the slow realisation and horror on his face as she went beetroot red whilst reading it.

As if that wasn't bad enough, my sister was 14 at the time. I'm surprised he didn't scar her for life.
