To go and crawl into a pit of shame and never show my face again?

From the OP who bought you "Girl and Skirt vs Wind and Tesco Window..."

I've just sent a picture of my boobs to my FIL.

I'm not really a flasher-type person (aside from in Tescos, clearly) however my OH likes getting the odd boob snap. I've only ever done it once before.
I'm working away this weekend and OH is pining so I send a quick snap, nothing fancy - just my knockers.

But I haven't sent it to him, have I? Oh no, because that wouldn't be horrifically embarrassing. I instead send it to FIL, similar first name, same surname, text message above OHs.

I can't think of a solution but to go and hide away forever. AIBU just to never see PIL again?

Any ideas how I can salvage this?

Shock

Have you told DH?

BlatantRedhead · 08/11/2013 22:23

Is there a MIL? Does FIL have a partner? If he does, I tight be an idea to at the very least clarify that it wasn't intentional...

IneedAsockamnesty · 08/11/2013 22:24

I feel your pain, the only solution to this is a text saying

Oh fuck trying to send to dh to brighten his day sorry got pictures mixed up.

Then send him a photo of some wellies and ask what he thinks.

Only downside is you are then obliged to buy him wellies for Christmas

Marking place - patiently awaiting FILs reply.

Do you think he has forwarded it to DH yet with a 'are these anything to do with you?' comment

Actually our Danish relatives have lots of self portrait nude photos over their house. Always makes me feel a little uncomfortable. But I assured this is a cultural thing. We are prudes so there you are shattering stereotypes in order to bring closer family ties.

I was to sending my brother a link to the vibrator I bought last night. Blush Just thinking about it, I feel your pain!

I was running through the follow-up text I would have sent this morning, a breezy "oops, sorry wrong person, disregard!" Would have to suffice I think.

scripsi · 08/11/2013 22:27

Could you have your phone "stolen"?

TwoStepsBeyond · 08/11/2013 22:27

Ooh something disappeared there... Should have said "I was THIS close..."

Emus · 08/11/2013 22:30

Arrrrgh, go on...what did he say?! What does your OH think about this by the way?!

BillyBanter · 08/11/2013 22:30

If he's saying 'i don't think you meant to send me that' reply 'what? What has Trisha done now? Honestly every time I go to the toilet she's up to no good. The drunkard'.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 08/11/2013 22:30
