What kind of twattery is this??!

I like it. It's a bit slicker. Took an age to load though. Like the way it has organised my photos.

I have concluded that iOS7 is the mooncup of software. Some say its great others say its pointless and are repulsed.

The design was done by the kind of person who loves Comic Sans Serif.

Just updated my iPad. So far, I don't like it at all.

It's downloading as I speak. Daughter said it was great. Mind you it is saying 8 hours left to download and hers was only minutes so not sure how I will feel when it is downloaded.

Well I have too much memory on my phone to back up onto iCloud. Cba. I might do the iPad as that's completely empty. I will get DH to do his phone first and then do it, if I like it!

I don't like the look of it really but the functionality does seem better. Except they have got rid of searching the Internet via Spotlight which is total crap.

Just updated my iPad 2 too. It's pretty!

I dislike the brightness of the icons but compared to the windows 8 change this is nothing. Windows 8 made me switch to Mac!

It's too bright and white, I want the top bar back black.
Swiping hidden curtains is a crib of my kindle/android in general. Bottom menu, instant timer is great for cooking. Also allows turning brightness down. Very necessary as it's too bright.

Calendar is indeed vile, but I only ever use week cal so I don't care.

Week cal is lovely and colour code-able and does appear on the top curtain

It's horrible!!! How do I go to my history on safari? Why are all my contacts on iMessaging coming up as their contact numbers and not their names any more? I've list my music as well.

I've hated it since updating this morning- for some reason once the update was complete my keypad was working really slowly. It was taking about five minutes just to type out a quick text or a short mn or fb post.

I've finally resolved it now. Here's how, in case any of you have a similar problem...

Settings-General-Reset-Reset All Settings

Easy when you know how... But I didn't know how!

My phone is now working perfectly again so I can finally browse the new software (and MN of course )

Why are contact pictures round?

It's growing on me. It is very different. But I like the control centre thingy and the switching between apps. Less impressed that you can put fewer apps in a folder (without it being multiple pages).

It's....I don't know, bright. It looks very childish. And colorful.

I don't like it. I refused to update mine, the DCs did their iPhones but I am not going to bother after looking at it.

The problem is, I am upgrading my phone in December. So the new iPhone will run IOS7, won't it?

It just doesn't look right.

Maybe we just have to get used to it?

Mirai you can go back and forwards in Safari by swiping the screen - you have to start right from the edge (ie the black bit) and swipe right across.

I love it. It's fresh and more modern looking. Much easier to use as well and I had thought it couldn't get any easier

I quite like it. But I am getting annoyed with that air drop thing.

I read an interesting article about the design. Jonathan Ive at Apple has wanted to update it for years, however Steve Jobs was wedded to that rather old fashioned aesthetic of making things look real, so the games centre looked like a green baize, notes looked like a yellow legal pad etc. Then of course Jobs died and some other head honcho was moved away and Ive got his way with the OS design after years of desiring it.
