Anyone know about the calendar and if you can change the view?

I line mine On Either month view or the list. Dd's newly updated one doesn't seem to have that option

I think i'll start using another broswer too. "Find on this page" has disappeared.

I am constantly bringing up the control panel when scrolling through a web page. Bloody annoying. DH wont be updating his iphone now after seeing my ipad.

I do like the new way of closing apps and the square option for taking photos. They are the only redeeming features i can think off. The rest is the emperors new clothes.

I LOVE it. I was itching for a change and feel like I have a shiny new phone. There are one or two things I miss but lots of improvements. I actually really like the calendar/diary bit and thank god I have some new sounds. If I'd read this post I'd have been put off but if you are sitting on the fence, do it, ring in the changes! I also haven't found it affects my batty but I do think the upgrade made it brighter so I turned it down with the handy scroll up bit. One thing I delight in on mumsnet is how you could never please all the people, it is so interesting how we differ!

Google chrome for iOS is super.

I started a thread on this too. I hate it.

If the 'control centre' is bugging you when you are playing games or just Mumsnetting you can easily turn it off.

You can still choose to access it via the home page. I am going to stick with it and see if I can get used to it.

The 'losing stuff when you change windows/refresh' isn't an iO7 thing - it always used to happen to me and I got used to copying everything I'd written if I left the page before I'd posted. Then it stopped doing it and I got out of the habit, but it's happened again about 3 times recently on my iPad - and I haven't upgraded that yet.

MasterFlea - if you start your scrolling flick above the bottom of the screen, you won't get the control centre coming up.

I had to click on this thread to see wtf iOS7 is.

I thought it might be something to do with dancing on ice or strictly or one of those programmes

The refreshing safari thing is to do with your internet connection? (I think)

I downloaded Chrome onto ipad last night. Much better than Safari, thanks for the recommendation.
I also discovered that none of my Kindle books were actually on the device any longer. Even though they all showed as on the device, I couldn't open any of them. Had to delete all the icons and download them again.

Ok, I need an iPhone 4S EXPERT - I used a work around to have location based reminders working on my phone when I had iOS5. I didn't have it for IOS 6 but I would like to know if there is any way to set it up with iOS7 on a UK IPhone 4S ??

I keep trying Chrome on my iPad, but the big stumbling block is the lack of a bookmarks bar. I use bookmarks all the time to navigate, and hate how awkward it is to get to them in Chrome. I especially miss the Scroll to end bookmarklet I have on my Safari bookmark bar, which gets quickly to the bottom of the page. I can't seem to get that in Chrome at all. I use it all the time, so I always end up on Safari again.

Try 'forgetting' your wifi network, rebooting and re-entering your wifi details?

(No idea if it helps but it can't do any harm )

I also never had that problem before (and still don't if I use the non upgraded iPad) but I'm going to try this suggestion.

So a few tweaks here and there and Ive got it working nearly the same as the iOS6 version. Hardly what the apple people were aiming for!

tbh havnt had any real probs, did ios7 on my 4

only slightly annoying thing is when typing/replying etc i type quicker then the letters appear and takes a few secs to catch up

and safari is diff, but its fine

i do close aps as others say battery is crap,but havnt found that yet .....
