If you forced a child to eat/drink a carcenogenic substance you would be arrested. But just because the poison comes from a licenced, taxed product then this seems to be perfectly acceptable.

Lung disease is too common in children of smokers and yet the authorities do fuck all about the cause.

Also parents of obese children should be prosecuted for abuse. It is the parents fault that their offspring are fat. Recently a 10 yr old girl weighed in at 24stone!!!!!! Now the NHS/SS will have to pick up the tab for getting this poor child back to a healthy weight.

I have 3DC all have a healthy relationship with food, exercise and their bodies. Its not fucking rocket science.

All the vegans I know are nice people who don't push their views on others, sounds like the ones you know are a little extreme Lion

This thread is either deliberately goady or the op is just one of those people who likes to shout a lot about stuff without thinking it through.

I am sure you are right - after all, not wanting to kill animals seems nice enough... It sometimes just feels like they are constantly in PMT land or something. Again I know I am going on the few I know. Maybe in years to come a scientist will find out their diet has something to do with it Wink

Too right, Mrs. It's wank designed to give them a false sense of security and control.

Evening,

We know that this is an emotive topic, but if you could remember our talk guidelines before you post that would be grand.

Comment on the post not the poster!

Op, don't you think perhaps it's best to allow every parent to make their own choices about food and lifestyle for their children? It seems to me that children thrive most when they feel secure and loved.
I am a social worker. In my opinion, abuse is more like burning your toddler's ear with a cigarette because he soiled his pants. I am more concerned about parent's who starve and neglect their children rather than feed them chicken nuggets and French fries on daily basis..
You do appear rather wound up, though..
