To think that parents that smoke near their DC should be prosecuted....

If you forced a child to eat/drink a carcenogenic substance you would be arrested. But just because the poison comes from a licenced, taxed product then this seems to be perfectly acceptable.

Lung disease is too common in children of smokers and yet the authorities do fuck all about the cause.

Also parents of obese children should be prosecuted for abuse. It is the parents fault that their offspring are fat. Recently a 10 yr old girl weighed in at 24stone!!!!!! Now the NHS/SS will have to pick up the tab for getting this poor child back to a healthy weight.

I have 3DC all have a healthy relationship with food, exercise and their bodies. Its not fucking rocket science.

Ahem. No personal attacks or trollhunting, people. Or we may have to prosecute a few of you ourselves.

(The OP's been around on MN for a while, if that helps any).

HelenMumsnet · 07/08/2013 16:44

@HoneyDragon

Helen, who's troll hunting? Confused

Pointing out the opening post is rather goading in its style has been expressed by a few, but no actual troll accusations [bewildered]

I believe there are a couple of posts (now deleted) that mention lifeforms under bridges etc

HelenMumsnet · 07/08/2013 17:19

@LuisSuarezTeeth

I never mentioned bridges or life forms though Hmm

No, but you did tell the OP to fuck off.

HelenMumsnet · 07/08/2013 17:27

@LuisSuarezTeeth

Actually no, I said that the OP started a goady thread and then fucked off. Ever so slightly different. If I had told op to fuck off then I would quite rightly be deleted and accept graciously. Sorry to split hairs.

Ah, in fact you are right. We apologise. You were right to split hairs.

You said, "I would like to prosecute OPs that post goady threads then fuck off."

That's still a smidgeonette of a personal attack, though.

Evening,

We know that this is an emotive topic, but if you could remember our talk guidelines before you post that would be grand.

Comment on the post not the poster!
