Just been to a 'party' at a house. Big divide between the drug takers and the non drug takers. Drug takers up and down the stairs for a line. No conversation. The rest of us flailing in the non atmosphere.

Grrr. I work in a bar so I put up with this shit at work. Now it's every time I go out for a drink or to a house.

how i miss those days.......

what i used to think about coke back in the early 90's (though since then i've had periods where i've indulged) was that it was like your straight blokes drug. as in the people who were actually scared of proper drugs that were mind altering or expanding or anything so they just shoved coke up their noses. i didn't get it. seemed such an 'empty' drug.

i can see why it works for older people though as it's so... discrete as in time so you do a few lines of coke, enhance your night and manage to stay awake a bit longer and feel a bit bouncier but not too much damage done and you can get up and go to work in the morning.

trouble is that so many end up taking it all the time and because it's so 'discrete' don't realise what a fucking drug problem they've got.

ps 'discrete' is the opposite of 'concrete'

I have never tried any drug. Am I alone in this? I have never wanted to. Never has the opportunity arisen. Again - am I alone in this? Is it rife except all the places I hang out?
I am such a hypochondriac I would be worrying about any long term damage to my heart (ref cocaine).

I think there's quite a few on mn that haven't green.

We got up to all sorts of stuff when young (not the hardest stuff) but I couldn't be around that sort of thing now, it was ok at 22. And what Swallow says is also probably why I can handle a few on coke at a party over anything else.
