To be sick of DP's poo crumbs?

My DP is very hairy. He leaves poo crumbs and hair on the seat every day and I'm sick of wiping it. This is way worse than the seat-up-or-down debate. I finally snapped after a year and told him he must start using wet wipes to avoid the poo crumb issue. I feel like I'm looking after a 2 year old in this regard.

It's been particularly bad in bed this summer as he sleeps naked so the crumbs go EVERYWHERE.

He says I have no right to interfere in his toilet routine and I say I'm not sexing someone who can't keep their poo crumbs under control.

His family are full of boys and he says the poo crumbs thing is normal and that I'm overreacting. AIBU?

An update 2 months on.

DP (and the bed) is now crumb-free

He happily uses wet wipes now so all is good. The toilet is also thanking you all for your support.

I have sons and brothers. I have a partner and had a husband. None of them have left SHIT on the toilet seat. That is not normal at all. And the fact an adult thinks it's ok is really not on. How could you be with him? I couldn't respect that.

Why has this come up on trending when the last post was 2013???!

You know what, I've have at him with a razor and shave the effing hair round his ass (and undoubtedly his nuts need a bloody good trim as well I wouldn't be surprised - though obviously I speak from no personal experience!).

And tell him until there was a 100% perfect track record of no toilet seat klagnuts he wasn't getting ANY from me.

I used to find tiny rolled up bits of toilet roll on the floor ....innocently used to pick them up, confused by these items akin to a borrowers cigar until I realised it was bits of used bog roll rubbed off by furiously wiping his hairy arse ! Found them in bed too, so fully understand bum crumb pain - time for the clippers

Can't he shower before bed!!! YUCK yuck plus how is he leaving crusty bits on toilet seat does he sit to wee as well, poo should be moist when he has it to wipe yuck yuck

My hubby has piles problem uses moist toilet tissue bed is never a problem, or toilet seat

Could he change his routine so that he showers after his poo? Assuming he does one a day.?

And why on earth would the crumbs be all over the bathroom floor?! Send him to the doctors, or the landscape gardeners.

My ex used to have this problem. He always wiped standing up so I'd find 'poo crumbs' as you call them and tiny bits of rolled up soiled toilet paper on the bathroom floor. He would leave full on skid marks on the bed sheets too! Gross! What i fail to understand is how men hide these disgusting traits until we have married them and moved in with them?!
