To think that shouting 'don't stare at the skanky garden' and 'it's not as if you have been invited'...

Are going to get your DC invited in to my DC's pool!

It isn't terribly exciting. Just a 10' round one from Argos. Nice to have though!

I welcome all children in it as long as I can have a conversation with their parents!

The last 'conversation' I had with next door was her shouting 'oi,fat cunt' by way if her getting my attention.

I like her DC, my DC are allowed to play with them when out and about but I do not allow them in my garden! I do not allow any children in my garden/pool/under my care that I cannot have a conversation with! AIBU

Yanbu but I am a tad confused :D

MammaTJ · 18/07/2013 21:25

Meant to say 'who's parents that I cannot have a conversation with'

Maybe little bit, just because its a shame the kids can't play together in the pool. Maybe the lady has bad speaking skills, you never know you may get on

RaisingChaotic · 18/07/2013 21:26

Ignore, ignore, ignore.

ParsleyTheLioness · 18/07/2013 21:27

She needs a refund from the charm school...

loveliesbleeding1 · 18/07/2013 21:27

Yanbu and she is a cheeky moo. (Putting it nicely, because it has got cooler where I am and I no longer have the rage)

MalcolmTuckersMum · 18/07/2013 21:29

Does "oi you fat cunt" mean the same as 'bad speaking skills'?

MammaTJ · 18/07/2013 21:32

It might malcolmTuckersMum

Shock

You must be kidding. The odds of me ever getting on with someone who addressed me as 'fat cunt' would be zero.

MammaTJ · 18/07/2013 21:35

Qod hopefully my second post explains!

WorraLiberty · 18/07/2013 21:44

I actually do have tears in my eyes from laughing at "Maybe the lady has bad speaking skills, you never know you may get on"

Yes MammaTJ you should be ashamed at being pissed off about being called a fat cunt! Grin

Where's your compassion?

NeoMaxiZoomDweebie · 18/07/2013 21:46

MN has hit the skids.

QOD · 18/07/2013 21:49

Can my dd come play though? you fat cunt

Grin
picnicbasketcase · 18/07/2013 21:56

Next time, smile sweetly and reply 'Yes, you revolting old wankpigeon?'

LilacPeony · 18/07/2013 21:56

The last 'conversation' I had with next door was her shouting 'oi,fat cunt' by way if her getting my attention. Well she sounds quite nice. I don't really see the problem. Grin
I feel a bit sorry for the children as it is not their fault their mum is a bit challenged in the social skills department to say the least, but it's a tricky one as i would be a bit uncomfortable about inviting someone's kids over who spoke to me like that either!

LilacPeony · 18/07/2013 21:57

either = too

BurnThisDiscoDown · 18/07/2013 22:05

Op, yanbu, but picnicbasketcase, yavvvvu indeed because I now want to call someone a revolting old wankpigeon. Not bothered who really! Grin

Tiredmummyneedswineandsleep · 18/07/2013 22:08

Sounds like my neighbour! Yanbu , poor kids and poor you for having to live next door!

CookieLady · 18/07/2013 22:09

I can't stop chuckling at "bad speaking skills"! Grin

MammaTJ · 18/07/2013 22:41

worra I would let your DC in in spite of you and your bad manners! Grin

propertyNIGHTmareBEFOREXMAS · 18/07/2013 22:46

Oh the lady sounds like she would provide hours of intelligent conversation and stimulating company if only you would give her a chance, OP Grin

Alternatively you could go with my old favourite response of 'fuck off, cock chops' next time she insults you Grin

MammaTJ · 18/07/2013 22:49

Oh Damn it, I am missing out on intelligent and stimulating conversation!!

kali110, really? What 'bad speaking skills' would lead to this? What did she mean to say then? I can't wait to hear!
