Loulybelle · 11/06/2013 09:32

Ugh the Little Miss Pouty Face.

Not an attractive look.

Sparklymommy · 11/06/2013 09:34

God knows. They think it makes them look thinner maybe?

IneedAsockamnesty · 11/06/2013 09:43

Because that's what lads of the silly celebs do.

ElleMcFearsome · 11/06/2013 09:45

Love the misspelling of the r word in that photo...

flipchart · 11/06/2013 09:45

Ha you are so right.
I just had a look at the profile pictures of my mates under 27 on FB and every single one of them has heavy eyeliner, false eyelashes and a pout!

SuperiorCat · 11/06/2013 09:48

Judging by the latest prom pictures that I have seen they are moving on from the duck face and all sticking their tongues out now.

Teenagers I can understand, but it is when the 25+ do it that makes me Hmm

HazleNutt · 11/06/2013 09:53

Oh sorry for that caption on the photo, didn't notice. Blush

chocoluvva · 11/06/2013 10:15

My teenage DD and her friends do the face 'ironically'. They pull horrendous faces at each other on snapchat.

Being very cheerful and openly enthusiastic about things and openly affectionate with friends is now known as being gay. Apparently.

HeySoulSister · 11/06/2013 10:22

My girls are 17 and 19 and laugh at those pouts. So not all teenagers do it.... Seems to be the early 20 age group that do tho

squidworth · 11/06/2013 10:33

At least it just for photos it the head flicking lads constantly putting their hair back in place, just get a hair cut.

Sparklingbrook · 11/06/2013 10:40

Oh yes the duck face. Hilarious. Usually done in a mirror that could do with some Windolene and loads of clutter in the background. Post on FB and await the comments from other duck faces.

These will include the words 'gawjus' and 'pwerty'. Hmm Or the latest one 'puberty did good' or something.

I have a teenage boy. No duck faces here.

Sallystyle · 11/06/2013 10:41

Yes, it's tongue piercings now with the tongue stuck out.

thebody · 11/06/2013 10:44

I have 2 habitual duck face offenders but they are young teens.

Happy days

ElleMcFearsome · 11/06/2013 10:45

Hazel, wasn't criticising you, just found it an ironic misspelling Grin

Sparklingbrook · 11/06/2013 10:46

Aww thebody. They will look back and laugh when they are all grown up no doubt. I wonder if FB was around when we were teenagers we would have done it?

mrsjay · 11/06/2013 10:46

we call it the duck face I think they look daft I am not sure whey they do it some now realise it is silly and do it for a laugh but it did start as a genuine thing Confused dds dont duck face but I have seen girls do it usually in vest tops with cleavage out!

wordfactory · 11/06/2013 10:54

I loath the duck face. But I also loath the gansta finger pose too!

Sparklingbrook · 11/06/2013 10:56

The boys wear baseball caps at jaunty angles that make them look like giant toddlers.

wordfactory · 11/06/2013 11:00

My son wears what he calls a Flat Cap. Not somehting you'd expect to find on Ilkley Moor, but an oversized baseball cap with a flat, rahter than curved brim!

mrsjay · 11/06/2013 11:01

apparently that is what Hipsters wear I have no idea what a hispter is Grin

Sparklingbrook · 11/06/2013 11:01

What's a 'snapback' word? Ds1 hasn't shown an interest in headgear so far.

wordfactory · 11/06/2013 11:01

They then pose with either their arms folded or doing the twon finger and thumb thing.

wordfactory · 11/06/2013 11:03

sparkling perhaps the same thing? Not sure.

But it's an important part of the uniform of any self respecting gansta bwoy...from Barnes Grin.

NachoAddict · 11/06/2013 11:04

I had to hide my dn from Facebook because I couldn't look at one more duck face picture. Girls u look so much prettier when you SMILE!
