I've absolutely loved the thread on crap stuff people have bought (and now know which washing machines/hoovers/deodorants to avoid).

Thought it might be interesting to see which products/appliances you love, be they beauty, household stuff, pet products, etc. Always useful to get 'thumbs-ups' from people. And as someone who rarely wears make-up (because I don't know what I'm buying/how to apply the damn stuff) it would be great to hear about essential beauty buys, rather than what the magazines tell us to buy. Beauty Editors seem to make a lot more money than most women.

For me it's my gadgets - iPod, Beats headphones (amazing sound quality on them) and my Kindle (even though I'm still buying stupid amounts of 'real' books too - they're so cheap in charity shops and supermarkets!).

So, what would/could you not be without?

Lush ambrosia cream for shaving (even my bits)!
Lush Roots conditioner (my hair is totally fcked from dye/extensions and this has sorted it out)!
Castor oil-for moisturising after shaving, for face moisturising after cleansing
Witch hazel for face cleansing
Body shop anti dandruff ginger shampoo (I have a birth mark on my head which tends to dry and flake).
Anusol (for under-eye bags and lines).
Almay sun protection lotion factor 30-for every day wear.
Victorious individual eye lashes-I like the way I look without make up if I have these on.
A decent pumice stone for my feet-I run fairly long-distance and have to wear high heels for work.
Soda crystals and soap flakes-I won't spend a lot of money on fancy products for clothes washing
Soda crystas also work for mopping floors and cleaning counters/bathroom etc
That's about all I can think of for now.

I work long hours and love those two gadgets for efficacy and ease of use. They reduce drudgery the way washing machines and dishwashers do.

My ipad, it's just said, "Hello Gorgeous," when I spoke to it.
