I've absolutely loved the thread on crap stuff people have bought (and now know which washing machines/hoovers/deodorants to avoid).

Thought it might be interesting to see which products/appliances you love, be they beauty, household stuff, pet products, etc. Always useful to get 'thumbs-ups' from people. And as someone who rarely wears make-up (because I don't know what I'm buying/how to apply the damn stuff) it would be great to hear about essential beauty buys, rather than what the magazines tell us to buy. Beauty Editors seem to make a lot more money than most women.

For me it's my gadgets - iPod, Beats headphones (amazing sound quality on them) and my Kindle (even though I'm still buying stupid amounts of 'real' books too - they're so cheap in charity shops and supermarkets!).

So, what would/could you not be without?

Bobbi Brown tinted moisturiser. Costs £45 but instantly my skin looks even in tone, more glowy and natural. And it's in a nice glass jar. Lovely texture.

Interesting that so many love the rose vaseline, I didn't like either the colour or the taste of it on my lips but the aloe vera one is fabulous.

Another vote for the Dr Organic range of toiletries in Holland and Barrett, I'm gradually working my way through them, haven't had a bad product yet.

Moshulu slippers, the comfiest and snuggest I've ever had

No7 fast drying top coat, one of the best I've tried and at 5.50 I can get it for 50p when I get a 5 pound voucher. I love it.

CitrusyOne · 29/05/2013 20:18

When I read the original thread title, I thought I didn't have any- but reading through everyone else's offerings I realise I have lots!

Someone up thread mentioned Laura Geller balance and brighten- I genuinely CAN'T live without this and hounded QVC recently until it came back into stock.

Body shop hemp hand cream- not so keen on the smell but it does wonders for my dry hands.

I'm loyal to sure deodorant- the pink one or the blue one that's crystal clear. (NOT the compressed one- it was difficult to spray and it lasted a fraction of the time)

Vaseline intensive care body lotion- the white one.

Nivea soft for my face.

Soltan sun cream from boots- rubs in well, and I've been using it that long the smell takes me back to a million happy summer's days!

Love sanctuary stuff- especially the salt scrub and the 'Mande lular' (I think that's what it's called) body butter- it smells lovely and leaves my body all tingly!

Also love molten brown 'paradisiac pink pepper pot bath and shower'.

Has to be the plain blue Vaseline lip balm here!

Oh, and limelite kitchen and bathroom spray.

And also, Bonne Mamma (again, I think that's the brand) do yummy cherries and berries jam, which isn't available everywhere but I stock up when I see it.

My clear egg timer thingy...you put it in the pan with the eggs. Don't know what they are called.

Tom's of Maine unscented deodorant ... smells amazing and herby.

Boots Botanics Facial Oil...only £6 and lovely.

Tea tree oil...stick it in the wash with towels, sheets, dishcloths, etc.

Microfibre cleaning cloths.

My cleaner. Grin

My tumble drier, washing machine and dishwasher all have 'delay start' buttons so we can put them on overnight for cheaper electric.

I used to love Aapri scrub but St Ives Apricot is the closest I can find now.

Aldi eye cream...£3 or so, seems good.

Sensodyne toothpaste, and Duraphat for if the sensitivity gets really bad.

Moon cup.
