and bitter and choose to make themselves feel better by belittling the lifestyles of others, choice or not. AIBU to be so pissed off by this to begin to despise a large proportion of the female population who think the same way and wish that they might fall off their self built pedestals?

Whaaat??

YouTheCat · 22/03/2013 21:47

I'm quite twisted but not bitter. Grin

OutragedFromLeeds · 22/03/2013 21:48

a large minority? Is that like 49%?

Tee2072 · 22/03/2013 21:48

airforce1 · 22/03/2013 21:49

OP sounds a bit bitter and miserable.

I'm miserable, you're right.

But I don't try to make myself feel better by belittling other posters, that would really be a nasty spiteful thing to do.

Although I do despise a large proportion of the population, but I include men as well as women in that.

HotCrossWeaselInSinisterBonnet · 22/03/2013 21:50

Does that make me part of the small majority? Confused

TunipTheVegedude · 22/03/2013 21:51

YABU, there are only a few posters like that, just like most people in RL aren't. Not 'a large proportion'. You have a jaundiced view.

PacificDogwood · 22/03/2013 21:51

Not meeee Grin!!

I am all happy and tolerant of others' life style choices and have had Wine.
Don't judge me; live and let live x.

EggyFucker · 22/03/2013 21:51

Oh, sweetness, what ails thee ?

Purple2012 · 22/03/2013 21:52

Yawn

airforce1 · 22/03/2013 21:53

Quick! Report OP for trolling!

AgentZigzag · 22/03/2013 21:53

I would go further than just people on MN though, and say most people are miserable most of the time.

And those who say they aren't are either deluding themselves or on drugs (Grin)

gaelicsheep · 22/03/2013 21:53

Not bitter at all me, just fed up with people endlessly falling for the Govt's crap and criticising others less fortunate than themselves. But feel free to take it personally. If the cap fits and all that. Smile

OP posts:
idshagphilspencer · 22/03/2013 21:53

I am miserable tonight

CointreauVersial · 22/03/2013 21:53

Nah.

There aren't many who are bitter and twisted, but they make a lot more noise than those who aren't. Ignore.

Have some Wine

EggyFucker · 22/03/2013 21:53

< wipes nose >

Smartiepants79 · 22/03/2013 21:54

Umm think you may be about to get lots of buns thrown at you but I kind of get where you are coming from.
It just makes me a little sad that there seem to be many people out there who have such difficult lives or who have had so much bad luck and disappointments.
Also always surprised at how judgey we can all be! ( me included I suspect!)

TunipTheVegedude · 22/03/2013 21:54

Maybe you are on the wrong threads GaelicSheep. Some threads will attract a higher proportion of people who do that. Go and hang out on gardening or arts and crafts or something and you will find it all a lot more mellow.

PacificDogwood · 22/03/2013 21:55

YANBU, but YABneedlessly hurt but other people's ignorance and preparedness to fall for the government's crap.

Agent, doe Wine count as 'drug'?? Grin[still happy]

AgentZigzag · 22/03/2013 21:55

Love that post EggyFucker Grin

It's just so...19th century Yorkshire warmth Grin

EggyFucker · 22/03/2013 21:57
Grin
AgentZigzag · 22/03/2013 21:57

If you don't know whether wine is a drug or not Pacific, you've not had enough/had enough - whichever applies Grin

LaurieFairyCake · 22/03/2013 21:57

I think there's a lot less 'happy stuff' on Mumsnet than real life.

People are more likely to post about difficulties or problems.

I also think that there's more belittling on here - maybe because its faceless?

The good news though is that people cut right to the chase, air their cuntiness, and then you can avoid them Grin

In real life it can take years to notice someone's a racist fuckwit

crashdoll · 22/03/2013 21:57

I find this thread ironic. A miserable thread proclaiming MNers to be miserable people.

I'm a bit miserable tonight, no chocolate in my house.
