To ask how many of you have had a bra intervention by Sorrel, Statistically and others?

I've been reading the recent bra threads and love it when people are shocked to discover they are actually a 32F and not a 40A.

So, if you have recently had a bra intervention by Sorrel, SC and others, can you answer the following please:

What size were you wearing?
Who fitted you? (Name and shame please)
What size are you now?

Can I ask a realy stupid question - are we really all so much bigger these days? I don't think anyone here has measured less than a DD? Who on earth are the B/C cup people?

Nope we are not. Its just YEARS of being fitted wrongly by M&S.

I am a small C cup. I think I am about the smallest here from what I have seen.

housemum you might also want to try a 34 band, don't forget to go up a cup.

Wish 38HH for starters. You may like to try a 36 band and a bigger cup if you are 'squishy'- see info above.

IAm she would really be a 26DD but 26s are like rocking horse shit, although Panache are bringing one out apparently. So 28D may do, especially if she is growing.

You ladies are heroes! Personally was always well looked after by H of F in Bristol, 2 v good but scary ladies. Then it went to Cabot Circus and scary ladies vanished ... Now I'm a Bravissimo girl.

Anyway, I just measured myself (intrigued by leaning forwards thing) and found that what I feared was true ... I'm only a 30 now not a 32. And I think I'm a G too as I'm wearing 32 FF on tightest hooks and its a v new bra. cup size fine. Measurements 30 and 41. I DO NOT want to be a 30G. If I eat biscuits will it go back?

lilibet 34GG to start. Scooping is when you lean across and scoop all the boobage that has snuck round to your armpit and towards your back into your bra. It tends to smooth down your lumps and bumps and can make you go up a cup size or two. You need a band firm enough to keep your scooped bits in place!

kylie I make you a 30H by measurements. But cup sizes vary so experiment a bit. Sorry!

MaryZ that's interesting. I reckon the range has really improved in the UK over the last 10 years or so, as people figure out their size. Or maybe I just wasn't looking before (in my 36DDs Hmm)

Maybe Ireland will catch up...

McPie just wanted to say, the up a band size rule definitely doesn't apply to every sports bra, my Panache and Freya are my usual band size. Happy shopping!

Please could someone do me?
I'm breast feeding, but am planning to treat myself to some new nursing bras soon...
Measurements are 29, 37 at the moment.
I'm wearing a 36C I think. I know the band is too big, I've had it since I was pregnant when my ribs were bigger.
Much smaller when not bf, was wearing a 34B, but sounds like that was all wrong.
Never been fitted properly, just used the guide in catalogues etc.

I started wearing correct sized bras years ago after discovering bravissimo.

As a teenager I wore a 32DD, I'm pretty sure I was probably only a 26 back. By the time I found Bravissimo I was a 28, so plenty of choice. Although some brands at Bravissimo only start in a 30.

I do think though that as my DD grows up unless huge changes are made then as a teenager she will end up wearing a back sze too big, as many teenage girls probably are a 26 back, or even smaller.

Sort of thank you. Am grateful but not happy. So M and S and even John Lewis are right, I am a freak! Shame its over an hour each way to Bravissimo. Can you persuade them its a public service to open a shop in every town with more than 500 boob owning women? If David Cameron wants re electing ... (Or is that electing?)
