Been reading various threads on mn with interest for several weeks now.why do u ladies feel do pessimistic about ur work life balance and compete with the ' oh poor me title'. If you want a better quality of life, surely u can downsize and have less financial Responsibilty and then look after ur dc yourself instead of paying others to look after them. I just don't get why you have kids unless you wanna love And look them yourself. This doesnt apply to single parents.is the financial gain worth it?

Both series of Homeland?

Excellent.

Poppylovescheese · 27/11/2012 17:42

Haven't had chance to read the whole thread but lets face it Jenna if you weren't deeply insecure about your own choices you wouldn't be posting this here.

Will not even start cooking until DH comes home with the bacon

(may start on the wine, though)

Pilgit · 27/11/2012 17:44

What KSRWR said - precisely. Eloquent and exactly how me and DH feel. Thank you for summing it up so beautifully!

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 27/11/2012 17:44

Given that this thread is about to reach it's limits and I have yet to be deleted
OP you are a goading , trolling twat of spectacularly low intellect.
Ahhh that feels better.

TantrumsAndBalloons · 27/11/2012 17:45

I'm so glad you found it interesting.

Really thrilled.

I tell what else thrilled me. All your attempts to get this thread to kick off and become an argument between WOHM/SAHM failed.

We all think every one is fabulous and doing a good job. Everyone on this thread is perfectly happy with their choices, except, it would appear, you?

Try P&C parking next time, or FF/BF

Mind you, you'll probably get the same response. There is no need to argue amongst ourselves whilst you are happily dropping your words of wisdom on us.

My poor neglected children are cooking dinner tonight. Quick, call SS

Sorry, I know I have been fairly well behaved this far but I fear I may become an utter cunt very soon.

TantrumsAndBalloons · 27/11/2012 17:47

jenna please pm when you start a new thread.
I cannot wait.
It thoroughly brightened up my day at the office.

KatieScarlett2833 · 27/11/2012 17:49

Jenna, if you must do as Tantrums asks, can you do it after 3:30pm please or I'll miss the best bits, like today.

TIA

Mwah

Tweasels · 27/11/2012 17:50

Hobnobs Grin - Rowan must be on her break.

I've been deleted EIGHT times on this thread. EIGHT I tells ya.

TantrumsAndBalloons · 27/11/2012 17:50

Ok but not in the middle of the night.
I have to go to bed early you know.

I have to get up for bloody work.

4pm will be just fine.

The supermarket subsituted DH's cheese today. For cheese with bits of ham in it. This is perverse.

Narked · 27/11/2012 17:54

As we're posting about annoying things.

KatieScarlett2833 · 27/11/2012 17:54

OK, 4pm will work for me too, except Thurs and Fri this week as I have to attend a training course till 5pm. The poor kids will have to be latchkey kids on those days and amuse themselves till I get home to further neglect them.

StillSquiffy · 27/11/2012 17:54

Hope she stays. She can fill in the gaps when Peter Andre isn't loving his kids so much.

Northernlurker · 27/11/2012 17:55

What I love about this thread is that it shows how sahms and wohms can be united in the face of total absurdity Grin

TantrumsAndBalloons · 27/11/2012 17:56

Oh mine are always latchkey kids. They get home before me and always have a cup of coffee waiting for me when I get in.

Cheese with bits of ham sounds bizarre.

So, are you staying jenna

Bettyintheburbs · 27/11/2012 17:57

I have ' achieved' raising a child, having a solid and blessed marriage.my Dp is my best friend. Having a beautiful clean home with daily cooked meals. is that wrong of me?

Well Jenna, I've done most of the above, although I also left a crap marriage, paid my XH and lawyer handsomely for the privilege, fell in love with a gorgeous man who works away from home in the army and support myself and my DD on my income alone which I earn having set up my own business while I was breastfeeding at night and while she sleeps. I have four hours a week and pay for a cleaner. I would never have dreamt of being so smug and self congratulatory on here as the OP, and suggest you make some heartfelt apologies to the wonderful MN community you have managed to offend so crassly.

mignonette · 27/11/2012 17:57

Jenna

Why should taxpayers pay you child benefit while you sit on your ass all day especially once your children are in school?

ifso · 27/11/2012 17:57

suggest you move over to Netmums Jenna, this is out of your league honey

Bettyintheburbs · 27/11/2012 17:58

Sorry, that should have read 'four hours a week off'.
I was typing on my iPhone Wink

HoneyDragon · 27/11/2012 17:58

My mums moans to this today about the lack of children to get in and get the fire on before she gets in of an evening Grin

melliebobs · 27/11/2012 17:59
