To be annoyed by him coming on to me around our kids?

DD1 is 5 yrs old, DD2 is 5 months old, DP is a randy bugger. At weekends we have the kids in bed for cuddles in the morning, DP is always stroking me etc and his 'excitement' is evident. I'm sure if I allowed him to he'd do stuff regardless of the kids. For me, it's irritating and spoils what should be a nice time with the kids. I'm by no means frigid but having the kids there just means I'm not in that mind-set. Yesterday I was breastfeeding a sleeping DD2 on the sofa, DP bent in to give me a kiss, was excited and later said he'd been hoping I'd give him a BJ. Am I being unreasonable to be irritated by his (in my opinion) inappropriate randiness?

We started having sex again when DD2 was 4 weeks and generally have sex most days so it isn't as if he's not getting any. I only saw the camcorder the next day as DD2 hadn't settled that night so nothing got filmed.

Sorry jenrose he sounds like hard work, once you've said no does he accept that or keep badgering you?

dylanthedragon · 29/10/2012 11:34

He wants to have sex in front of a 5 year old child who is clearly awake and aware of what's going on?! That is very wrong- never mind the inappropriate pressure he's putting on you. Shock

SugariceAndScary · 29/10/2012 11:35

4 weeks! bloody hell jen.

LadyEvilBeagle · 29/10/2012 11:35

Yuk!!

jenrose29 · 29/10/2012 11:35

He feels sorry for himself but will try it on at every opportunity...or rather every time he views as an opportunity!

Did you commence penetrative sex 4 weeks post partum ?

Whose choice was that ? Were you 100% happy with it ?

squeakytoy · 29/10/2012 11:39

I find nothing more offputting than someone behaving like some sort of sex starved letch.... eughhh.. YANBU.

SugariceAndScary · 29/10/2012 11:40

Poor you, it took me a good six months to feel up to it after ds3!

You have every right to feel irritated at the very least, anger is what you should really be expressing to him. Does he have no concept of boundaries and how your dd may pick up on your feeling of discomfort when he's touching you up?.

diddl · 29/10/2012 11:41

He sounds utterly revolting tbh.

Had you talked about filming yourselves or did a camera just appear??

waltermittymissus · 29/10/2012 11:41

Yuck.

There is something very off-putting about a man who wants to have sex with a child watching. Have you ever put it to him in those terms?

EuroShagmore · 29/10/2012 11:41

That sounds vile. I would hate being pawed at like that. And that sort of behaviour in front of a 5 year old is completely inappropriate.

jenrose29 · 29/10/2012 11:44

Yes penetrative at 4 weeks, I was fine with it. Just since then I feel harassed by his constant state of horniness/expecting me to dress up etc as well as being the only one to tend to kids, but mostly touching me around the kids reallymakes me angry.

Charliefarlie1192 · 29/10/2012 11:44

I would not have this man around my children. Sorry

jenrose29 · 29/10/2012 11:46

He sees it as DD1 isn't watching as such (because I have said that) as she is in and out of bed fetching toys/books and he says we could do it discreetely in spoons position.

OP posts:
FuckityFuckFuck · 29/10/2012 11:47

yuck

he sounds bloody vile.

I'd tell him to stop it and control himself like the grown assed man he is supposed to be or fuck the fuck off

SugariceAndScary · 29/10/2012 11:48

jenrose sorry but he sounds like an awful man to live with, you must be exhausted if he doesn't help with the children.

Do you want to stay with him?

laughtergoodmedicine · 29/10/2012 11:49

Jedrose29. It is unreasonable. Just bark at him to make the point. We are NOT dogs

dontlaugh · 29/10/2012 11:50

I echo the other posters, but with added fuck offness. He sounds horrible. You should be able to feed your baby without being expected to blow him at the same time. Yuck yuck yuck.

MyLastDuchess · 29/10/2012 11:50

He's kidding himself if he thinks the 5yo wouldn't notice! They notice EVERYTHING.

GreenEyesAndHam · 29/10/2012 11:50

That just sounds exhausting. And vile. And for me would pretty much guarantee I'd never want to have sex with the man again.

BlameItOnTheCuervForHumanBlood · 29/10/2012 11:52

Have you told him how he makes you feel?

AlmostAHipster · 29/10/2012 11:52

Is he jealous of the kids? It sounds like needy attention seeking to me and I'd be refusing to have him anywhere near me if he didn't stop this shit immediately.

HappyHalloweenMotherFucker · 29/10/2012 11:52

You are living with a sexual abuser

No other way to put it, sorry

iklboo · 29/10/2012 11:53

Isn't intentionally causing a child to watch or witness sexual behaviour / intercourse illegal & a safeguarding offence? (not 100% on this).
