hi my husbands works all day and i am busy going to baby groups etc and looking after baby .husband expects tidy house and tea ready when he gets in.ironing is mounting up and he gos out for 8 hours with mates on saturday .whos unreasonble?

Oh and when it comes to hobbies, agree between you when and for how long, DH is part of a sailing club and just bought a boat so that takes up some time and I have the gym. Anything else I can take LO with me.

Perhaps dp is also tired if baby's only 4 weeks old. He must get woken in the night too. I bet he'd love to take a day off work but he doesn't. It's not being all 1950ish to have a meal ready for when he gets in. If you were the one going out to work (months down the line) and he was the sahd i bet you'd expect a meal. It's about consideration. How hard can it be.

I dont think its unreasonable for the stay at home person (male or female) to prepare dinner and do majority of the house chores.

You should be doing it out of obligation and not because anyone is asking you.
