Surely there are thousands of others just as capable at doing the job?

Biscuit

Is it an offensive tattoo?

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 03/10/2012 12:25

Why is someone with a neck tattoo less than capable then??

Dont' judge a book by it's cover.

SquishyCinnamonSwirls · 03/10/2012 12:25

And why should they be chosen over someone with a tattoo?

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 03/10/2012 12:26

What's wrong with tattoos?

Saltire · 03/10/2012 12:26

But having a neck tatoo isn't neccesarily a bad thing is it?. Unless it is obscene or racist.

Saltire · 03/10/2012 12:26

It doesn't make them uncapable to doing a good job.

PenfoldRocks · 03/10/2012 12:26

*capable OF
I don't think so, I just don't think it's appropriate!
(am thinking of Junior Bakeoff man)

Is there something in the water today?
Biscuit

sugarice · 03/10/2012 12:27

Who is it doing the presenting?

Fairylea · 03/10/2012 12:27

Wtf.

Discrimination.

KillerRack · 03/10/2012 12:27

No, they are obviously scummy thugs Biscuit

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 03/10/2012 12:27

Why isn't it appropriate though? What's your reasoning here?

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 03/10/2012 12:28
Shock

A neck tattoo! He is obviously a very dangerous criminal.

Somebody call the Daily Mail!!! Our poor children!

TheVermiciousKnid · 03/10/2012 12:28

Why?

Pandemoniaa · 03/10/2012 12:28

No, they are obviously scummy thugs

And part-time peedos?

MumsGoToReykjavik · 03/10/2012 12:28

In what precise way is it "inappropriate"?

CookingFunt · 03/10/2012 12:28

Seriously?

Technoviking · 03/10/2012 12:29

Plenty of the children watching will have parents with all sorts of tattoos. Should only a certain type of person be allowed to be seen on tv?

sillymillyb · 03/10/2012 12:29

Please would someone collect DS asap? I have a tattoo on the back of my neck and he must be saved!

PenfoldRocks · 03/10/2012 12:29

I wouldn't want my child to be asking for a neck tattoo - I think it would narrow his chances of getting a good job (rightly or wrongly and understand my circular argument).

BupcakesAndCunting · 03/10/2012 12:30

As any fule kno, a neck tattoo is the branding of a danger bastard.

I bet that presenter has bodies under his floorboards.

OP YANBU and don't let this miserable lot tell you otherwise.

CookingFunt · 03/10/2012 12:30

Justin Fletchers nipples were sticking out a few days ago.

Lueji · 03/10/2012 12:30

It depends on the definition of a good job.

If he wanted to do science, for example, I don't think it would matter at all.

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 03/10/2012 12:31

A good job like presenting kids tv for instance?

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 03/10/2012 12:31

Not on the BBC but ITV would be ok Wink
