Surely there are thousands of others just as capable at doing the job?

not scummy. Lovely gorgeous man with neck tattoo

Lueji · 03/10/2012 14:42

I'd definitely object to Chris Brown as a children's presenter.

And Pete Doherty... Hmm

Not because of any tattoos, though.

MarysBeard · 03/10/2012 14:43

Bloody hell. Another hilarious thread. Biscuit

SPsFanjoLovesItGangnamStyle · 03/10/2012 14:45

Chris Brown is a twat.

I'd like Professor Green to be a children's presenter Wink

TittyWhistles · 03/10/2012 14:47

Prof Green looks like a children's TV presenter

daddyorchipsdaddyorchips · 03/10/2012 14:48

Fanjo, that link just took me to Rhianna, then Chris Brown showing Rhinna's battered face on his neck tattoo.

Further proof of scumminess.

SPsFanjoLovesItGangnamStyle · 03/10/2012 14:49

daddy it should be Mr Timberlake!

Pagwatch · 03/10/2012 14:51

I rarely like tattoos. Occasionally I spot one I think looks good but generally they are not my thing at ll.

But I have absoloutely no clue why having one would make you unsuitable to be a children's tv presenter unless it was obscene or inappropriate.

Yabu.

BoulevardOfBrokenSleep · 03/10/2012 14:52

That's a pretty tiny tattoo. I thought you meant like Oli Sykes or something.

Either way, YABU. I doubt seeing a tattoo is going to melt your DC's eyeballs. Or inspire them to ask for one for Christmas.

SPsFanjoLovesItGangnamStyle · 03/10/2012 14:52

I find men with tattoos attractive. I love neck tattoos too. I don't know why but I hope I'm not the only one!

OxfordBags · 03/10/2012 14:54

My son saw Aunt Sukie on Something Special and now he insists that his lifepath will be that of a transvestite Georgian milkmaid. He's only 18 months, but seeing someone on tv has that strong an effect on kids. BURN THE WITCH!

PuzzleRocks · 03/10/2012 14:56

SP I found DH's skin an odd blank canvas until he got his first ink at 35. I look forward to him getting more. Oh and to the outside world he is as middle class, vanilla, and inoffensive as they come. Pearl clutchers think him such a "naice" man.

Scummy? Not a bit. Sleazy? Hell yes. Oh so deliciously sleazy.

daddyorchipsdaddyorchips · 03/10/2012 14:57

Aha! Grin

I do find tattoos attractive (bf has a tremendous one and I have two small ones - thanks to misspent youth) but neck tattoos are just dire.

Yes, I am Judgey McJudgerson.

comixminx · 03/10/2012 14:58

Hmm. Slightly defeating the purpose there Fanjo - your link comes up with piccies of that Chris Brown with his skeevy neck tattoo that's not in any way a picture of battered Rihanna at all... (At least it does for me, dunno if Google Images returns different results for different people in the way that ordinary Google does.)

comixminx · 03/10/2012 14:59

oops, x-post. Blush

Sonofagun · 03/10/2012 15:00

I was more concerned with the fact that he doesn't seem to be able to speak properly. "Free" instead of "three". I think it should be a minimum requirement to be able to speak proper Wink at the very least when presenting on children's TV!

SPsFanjoLovesItGangnamStyle · 03/10/2012 15:00

puzzle I'm glad its not just me!

Grin

The lad I'm currently seeing now as a full sleeve and a chest tattoo. That was what attracted me to him in the first place Grin

SPsFanjoLovesItGangnamStyle · 03/10/2012 15:02

comix It was meant to be Justin not that twat Chris. I thought link would go straight to the picture I viewed but obviously not.

monkeysbignuts · 03/10/2012 16:01

I love tattoos as long as they are not crap ones or twat accross the persons forehead!
They are individual, I have 3 myself and would love more.
Neck tattoos are fine as long as its not something grotesque. I think a lot of tattoo places refuse to do them not sure why?

ErrorError · 03/10/2012 16:02

LOL, Just googled the presenter in question expecting to find "THUG LIFE" plastered across his throat and be horrified. It's 2 or 3 quite discreet outlines of stars on one side. Could quite easily have been a birthmark if you weren't looking that closely. YABU, have a Biscuit

Sparklingbrook · 03/10/2012 16:53

I think he is quite easy on the eye. Blush

Itsgottabebags · 03/10/2012 18:20

I think that TV has a duty to represent lots of different people and so people do have neck tatoos so YNBU. If they are good at their job why not?

Itsgottabebags · 03/10/2012 18:21

I think that TV has a duty to represent lots of different people and so people do have neck tatoos so YNBU. If they are good at their job why not?

Sorry should have been YBU

McHappyPants2012 · 03/10/2012 18:25

I have tattoo, quick phone SS as i have 2 children.

If my DC ask for a tattoo i say no unless its in the holidays. The school has asked not to put them on as its a distraction

FermezLaBouche · 03/10/2012 18:25

Don't give the smallest crap what tattoos people choose to get, but I think anyone who moans about not getting a job in the current climate due to their visible tattoos/piercings is very, very naive.
