Why? YABU!

HereLittleKitty · 27/09/2012 13:26

What?

Why?!

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 27/09/2012 13:26

Yes, surely you have something better to do than wash stuff that's just been washed.

larks35 · 27/09/2012 13:26

Too fussy imo, but I am a slattern Grin

controlpantsandgladrags · 27/09/2012 13:27

Yes yabu. And a bit odd.

Pooka · 27/09/2012 13:27

Why would you do that?

Why????

cairnterrier · 27/09/2012 13:27

Tea towels I could just about understand but why not towels with other clothes?

Mintyy · 27/09/2012 13:28

I would Wink. I am very fussy about laundry.

Nevercan · 27/09/2012 13:28

Why? It's clean. We always have random things mixed together in our washing Grin

SilverBellsandCockleShells · 27/09/2012 13:28

Why on earth would it matter? [puzzled]

MoelFammau · 27/09/2012 13:28

Why??

TheGoldenKnid · 27/09/2012 13:28

Waste of time, waste of electricity, waste of water, waste of detergent etc.

Greavesey · 27/09/2012 13:29

I do this all the time.

Apparently its to do with colours and different materials....

Confused
BoomerGold · 27/09/2012 13:29

I'd leave it this time but educate your OH. I never wash towels or sheets with clothes as they go on a 95 rather than a 40.

Caerlaverock · 27/09/2012 13:30

I wash towels separately at 60 but I would probably let this go

squeakytoy · 27/09/2012 13:31

YABU and mad... why on earth would it matter if things were mixed together. I woud not waste detergent and electricity on washing things separately. It all gets bunged in together here.. underwear, socks, tshirts, towels and tea towels.

FredFredGeorge · 27/09/2012 13:32

YA completely bonkers. The towels absorbancy unlikely to be impacted much by a single wash with fabric softener so washing it out won't make a jot of difference. If you have any other reason than that YA even more completely bonkers.

Alliwantisaroomsomewhere · 27/09/2012 13:33

YABU, though I like to wash towels together... not with any other items other than perhaps linen.

sambageeni · 27/09/2012 13:37

It's like ironing socks and pants......why would you! :)

Anotherusefulname · 27/09/2012 13:38

YABU but I am one of these people who washes everything together, mixed colours, mixed fabrics and never have any problems.

TroublesomeEx · 27/09/2012 14:07

Oh God, I would rewash them and now I've just read all the YABUs! Shock

TroublesomeEx · 27/09/2012 14:08

silverbells it matters because unless the temperature was high enough the bum germs wouldn't be killed and would also be transferred onto the towels.

FunnysInLaJardin · 27/09/2012 14:10

YABU, how on earth do you normally do your washing?

LegArmpits · 27/09/2012 14:12

Stark raving bonkers.

FunnysInLaJardin · 27/09/2012 14:12

but Folk all the bug germs would go on the clothes too by that logic
