Just change your settings under Talk: Customise above to highlight the OP's posts in a different colour so they stand out. Then you can scroll through the pages and read all the OP's posts before posting yourself. You can even change how many posts appear on a page in a thread so you don't have to keep going through page after page.

I know some of you see a thread title and nearly wet yourselves in anticipation of posting your opinion before reading barely more than the OP but it might save you some embarrassment when the thread has moved on from say... someone saying her DP complains about her cooking to when it's revealed he's abusing her and the kids. Not to mention it keeps the thread cleaner and more on track.

Lemarch - in most cases, that's true - but in some of the really sensitive ones, the OP may only focus on the few "basher" posts and ignore the 99% of helpful ones, just because that's the way they're conditioned (seen this happen on some relationships threads, for e.g.) People with really low self esteem will take on board the bashing quicker than the positive. :(
