Just change your settings under Talk: Customise above to highlight the OP's posts in a different colour so they stand out. Then you can scroll through the pages and read all the OP's posts before posting yourself. You can even change how many posts appear on a page in a thread so you don't have to keep going through page after page.

I know some of you see a thread title and nearly wet yourselves in anticipation of posting your opinion before reading barely more than the OP but it might save you some embarrassment when the thread has moved on from say... someone saying her DP complains about her cooking to when it's revealed he's abusing her and the kids. Not to mention it keeps the thread cleaner and more on track.

No, seriously ... everyone makes mistakes, it's people who never bother to read a long thread and come in with a comment that get on my nerves. Or people who don't bother to check the last few posts at least, so they come in all guns blazing when people have started making up, and set the whole thing off again.

YANBU unreasonable OP. I have started a thread on the same subject before and was thinking about doing so again. I know it's AIBU, but shouldn't that apply to the answers as well as the OP?

Haven't read the whole thread so someone might have suggested this but it would be good if there was a filter button so you could just see all posts by the OP. I know they can be highlighted but when it's a really long thread and you are on a phone it's not that easy to find them all. Also it would be good if the responses to specific posts could somehow be linked as its not easy to see who and what OP is responding to.
