Mini Safari (DD 6 months): AIBU to want to play and chat with DM and use her as a climbing frame whil still attached to her nipple from 3-6am. She seems to think I should sleep at night O_o.
Then at 7:30am while she was yawning over her coffee, and I was coverd head to toe in yog and doing my best Chewbacca impression she didn't even think it was slightly funny when I threw a lump of half chewed yog coverd banana in her face.
Then she tried to give me a bath to clean off said yog and calm me down, I have no idea why, I was perfectly happy to spend the day coverd in my breakfast. I then did an epic poomagedon in the bath, and was most proud with my copious achievement. Then she even shouted at the dog who bundled it's way through the door to try and clean me up as I made my escape from miserable DM across the bathroom floor still coverd in watery poo and yog while she ran a fresh bath and mumbled something aboud DF still being in bed after sleeping the whoel night through.
Now I'm napping peacefully on her tummy and she really needs a wee but if she puts me down or removes her nipple from my mouth, I will of course wake up and be in a shocking mood for the rest of the day.
INU am I, to think there's just no reason she can't function any better than a miserable zombi?

AIBU to think the best time for a nappy explosion is whilst dm is giving me my bedtime feed, just right after she bathed me?

rhondajean · 05/08/2012 20:22

Dd1 -I don't need you to tell me AIBU because I know I'm not, she is, doesn't matter what it's about.

Dd2- AIBU to think that everyone wants to hear about Moshi monsters, my little pony and monster high constantly, people seem to have started trying to avoid me at home.

GimmieChocolate · 05/08/2012 20:25

DD10weeks: AIBU to wake my mummy up 2 or 3 times in the night as I've finally got my arms free of this straight jacket swaddle, but then get freaked out by flailing them everywhere and hitting myself in the face so want her to put them back in for me, but only enough so I can get my hand out to suck my thumb?

Happiestinwellybobs · 05/08/2012 20:36

MyinnergoddessisatLidl · 05/08/2012 21:19

DS7: AIBU to want to spend 6 weeks crouching in the living room playing Lego in my pants whilst shoving an occasional bowl of cereal into my mouth and casting sideways glances at CBBC AIABU to expect the entire living room floor to be used to build "Lego Island" and to get into a right strop if anyone dares move a single brick or complains because they have stood on a Lego figure AGAIN!

TiddlyBears · 05/08/2012 21:21

Am I being unreasonable to wake every hour of the night for milk? I mean, why sleep when there are kisses and cuddles I can have?

PissyDust · 05/08/2012 21:26

Yummymummyyobe1 · 05/08/2012 21:27

AIBU to think that mind reading isn't too much to ask?
I mean, a lot of the time I even point and squeak enthusiastically, do I have to spell everything out?
(DD 17 months).

And another thing, If I want to call you Daddy' all the time, why can't you just be grateful I bother with words?
I give you my best cheerful voice and cutest grin and you just go on and on about 'mummy' - stop being so hung up on labels.

Rhubarbgarden · 05/08/2012 21:39

AIBU to go out for tea with Gps and then come home and eat mums too

Shodan · 05/08/2012 21:50

DS1 (16) - AIBU to think that actually, playing computer games in my room for days at a time IS an efficient and healthy use of my time? And furthermore, AIBU to believe that as I begrudgingly, finally put my clothes out for mum to pack using her weirdo 'packing system', that that counts as helping and I should therefore not be shouted at to do more?

DS2 (4)- AIBU to Mummy, mummy, mummy, mummy, mummy, mummy, mummy all the time? Mummy seems to think I am, judging by the hysterical tone of her voice and the wild rolling of her eyes.

holler · 05/08/2012 21:55

Aibu to get up every day at 5? I'm full of beans and love roaring around the house for hours before anything opens. Mummy looks haggard and pleads with me to sleep until 8 6, but I think she's weak.
