"The only chance to maxi dress ! Horrors.
She could have shopped online"

She probably does usually but, if she's anything like me, she's tearing her hair out from being indoors constantly with a toddler and planned a day shopping with her friend.

ROAR at Maryz. It'll come in handy when they get near the bosphorus. t

Now I know this has to be a wind up, what has paying with cash have to do with anything

usualsuspect · 25/06/2012 16:06

WTF Bonnie? Grin

IdontknowwhyIcare · 25/06/2012 16:07

We went out to a five star restaurant for a family and freinds celebration after a difficult time. We were subjected to both a vile parent ignoring her rampaging child and the afroementioned child. We did in fact complain to the restaurnat manager, andw e werent the only ones. Ds (16) was with us, in fact it was his celebration, however he has never ever been allowed to behave like that in a restaurant. to mkae things worse the woman left to go outside and smoke, whilst child rampaged, however I have an ecellent line in evil stares ;-).

You seem nice OP Smile Funny, if a little scary.

You have a very familiar arsey bold style I can't quite put my finger on.

Paying with cash suggests ONE thing.
We don't need to spell it out, do we?

Clearly you do. When I go shopping I usually have a budget so get cash out so I don't overspend, I don't see how that us relevant at all

LurkingAndLearningForNow · 25/06/2012 16:16

I usually feel sorry for screeching babies in supermarkets. All they can see is everyone's knees, sometimes mums need to take them shopping when it's nap time etc. I can't imagine it's fun for them!

What I can't take is people who let their bratty five year olds run loose in supermarkets and destroy stock, scream at the top of their lungs and play chasey.

Oh, and I was a cashier for too long so there was no escape for me! Grin

The only time I will throw a tantrum over a screaming baby is when an incredibly selfish parent takes a six month old/toddler to a movie. Any other time they're just babies being babies and I like to be optimistic that if their mum is ignoring them, it's for the right reasons.

BrainSurgeon · 25/06/2012 16:17
