Gosh there has been lots of excitement on MN in the last day or so at the news that he has split with his partner. MNers practically scratching each others eyes out to have first claim on him! Which is all very lovely but....

I just don't see it. And I don't know why - I love beards, I love actors, I love talented men, I appreciate a slightly outlandish dress sense. But he does absolutely nothing for me. Not in his current state, not in his younger days - nada. Not even as Captain Jack Sparrow (see earlier beard reference)

Anyone else feel the same?

We may not need to go feral for too long, Nettle. Johnny's got 12+ bedrooms which should be ample room to accomodate us in the luxury to which we'll rapidly become accustomed
