Gosh there has been lots of excitement on MN in the last day or so at the news that he has split with his partner. MNers practically scratching each others eyes out to have first claim on him! Which is all very lovely but....

I just don't see it. And I don't know why - I love beards, I love actors, I love talented men, I appreciate a slightly outlandish dress sense. But he does absolutely nothing for me. Not in his current state, not in his younger days - nada. Not even as Captain Jack Sparrow (see earlier beard reference)

Anyone else feel the same?

Depp was hot a good few years ago, lost it somewhat. Was hot in The Astranaut's Wife even thouh it seemed a rubbishy rehash of Rosemay's Baby and he had dodgy blond hair.

YANBU. I've never "got" the Johnny Depp phenomenon. Don't much care for Brad Pitt or George Clooney. Which I'm sure they'll be utterly devastated to hear.
