The one from Fathers4Justice, where they accuse MN of:

"carrying abusive and distressing anti-male content which promotes gender hatred against men and boys"
and, apparently, labels "men and boys as rapist, peados and wife beaters."

The ad has a lovely picture of a sad little boy with words like "rioter" and "homeless" and "sperm bank" written on his skin.

I am confused, as I have never come across a thread on here where people routinely call men paedophiles and rapists. In fact, usually, if someone implies that a man being left alone with a child is dodgy, posters will pile in and say "God, don't you know not all men are paedos.?"

As I understand it, this is a forum for discussion, not a political movement with a manifesto. There are many and varied opinions on MN, and the minute one opinion is aired, another will be along to refute it.

Or should I just laugh at F4J? The ad is quite gruesomely funny.

I don't think threats are the same as actually killing someone, the same as I don't think a direct threat is the same as a general conversation. Personally I deplore violence and threatening behaviour.

Somebody justified the F4J ad by claiming that Mumsnet is a "misandrist" site. I said it wasn't and pointed out that misandry is a fake word created by MRAs in their backlash against feminism and then SigmundFraude went off on one.

That man is out there somewhere, and I would sincerely hope that he is in a tiny minority of men and that he is all mouth and no action. Because I have a dd as well as 2 ds. Sexual violence against women is very very real and a huge amount of it goes unreported. People have been expressing shock at the sheer number of female victims revealed in the MN 'We Believe You' campaign.

I haven't seen any new reports yet of radfems slaughtering boys.

A small blog in one corner of the internet isn't exactly in your face, or do you go there specifically to be pissed off.

On the other hand we can't get away from hatred of women and its real life consequences, like the bullying by F4J going on at the moment, or the reasons why the "We Beleive You" campaign by Mumsnet is necessary.

Sigmund. You should probably be made aware that any stats which seem to show that men and women are equal at dishing out the old DV use a survey tool which fails to take in to account sexual abuse, doesn't take in to account previous abuse, and doesn't even include who initiated abuse.
