To ask our nanny to not take the children to Greggs for lunch once a week?

Dh thinks I'm being precious, the first time it happened I thought "oh we'll, it's just once, it's a treat" (apparently they LOVED it - nanny's capitals, not mine) but she went again today, the third week in a row. The other meal they had today was beans on toast so not exactly bad but hardly the peak of nutrition heights.

Dcs are 2 and 4 btw.

It wouldn't bother me once a week - but I would expect the other meal to be more vegetable based than beans on toast, but it depends what she gives them the rest of the time really.

We had actual Greggs sausage rolls for lunch today. They were yummy!

Your family, your rules, though. Maybe suggest it as a treat - pizza slices are pretty easy to do at home though.

Why don't you just tell the nanny what you want your kids to eat, and make sure it's in the fridge?

Who pays? Could you ask her to go to pizza express instead?

Pizza is pretty tame for a once a week treat, isn't it? She could be shovelling donner kebabs down their necks. Pizza is just bread, tomatoes and cheese. Would you be upset if she gave them a cheese and tomato sandwich?

I have a full fridge and freezer, I cooked a load of pasta sauces which i froze this weekend which I told her about so she isn't even have to prepare anything if she didn't feel like it!
