To ask what happened to your breasts after breastfeeding?

Odd question, didn't want to put it in BF since that seems to be about mums currently BFing rather than post. Maybe not.

I was 34C prior to DC1, 34D during pregnancy, didn't BF and returned to 34C once I lost baby weight.

34D again during 2nd pregnancy, did BF DC2 and 4 months on from stopping, am a small 34B, i.e. small as in empty and just about 34B.

A friend told me that up to 6 months post-BF, they can return to pre-pg size. Did anyone experience this? Do I sound pathetic, checking the poor things everyday to see if they have gained that elusive cup size?

i was a 34a before pregnancy with DS1, then i went up 2 sizes and in 2nd pregnancy i went to a 36c i think and now im a 34c

34C before, BF three children, 34 E currently. And not like spaniel ears.

Yep, probably about half a stone lighter than when I had my first DD in '93.

34-36C before 36-38C-D now. Am about half a stone heavier. Theu grew enormously during breastfeeding. My nipples are better now as well. breastfed until about 8 months.

It is pregnancy that causes changes in your breasts, not Breastfeeding.

After breastfeeding both of my dc mine felt a bit empty for a while but eventually filled out again.

Fuck all happened to them after two children seven years apart and five years of BF. They got a bit bigger initially and in the first few days after birth, quite worryingly squared-shaped but that soon passed.

But then mine couldn't stay where they were, high on my small frame for long, so they were this shape even before pregnancy. Obviously didn't mean total un- shaggability or the DC wouldn't be here...

Mine are pretty much the same. They're small though, so nothing to sag really.

I do look at them and think they don't look like I've had kids .

Mine are no saggier but my nipples are bigger and I have a few stretchmarks now

34A before 5 DCs, now 34C. I am not by any stretch of the imagination back to my pre pregnancy weight from way back in 1989. I'm never going to be that size again unless I get a bad case of the shrinks when I'm older. I'm a good ten pounds heavier at the best of times.

36B before 38B now.
DD1 pushed my ribs out when PG and 14 years later I'm still slightly broader than I was.
Despite BF DD2 forever (more years than she likes me to mention) it had very little effect.
My breasts are a tiny bit saggy now, but I'm 44 so I can't complain. Given I have very big hips a cup size bigger would have been great. I might have been able to find dresses that fitted.

Fairly perky 32 E before. Now 32 G but in need of well-engineered support to look their best.

I kept a lot of weight on after 2nd baby. My belly has taken on more than its fair share of extra wobble, boobs / bum seem to have escaped quite lightly.

Can I give you a little tip? Get fat. Your tits will be fine. Mine went a bit limp looking after 5 years of bf. However - I put on 2 stone and now my tits look fine. It's just my arse which is a sorry sight.

It all goes South in the end - don't worry about it!

Reasonably perky 32F/34E before, 34G while bfing, now 36G, having put on a ridiculous amount of weight since giving up bfing but boobs reasonably non-droopy, given the size of them.

On the other hand, my sister went from 32C to 34G and is now a 30A. (well, she buys a 30A, but complains she doesn't have anything to put in it). Still perky though.

Mine are a bit smaller than before and probably saggier, but the main difference is that I can't stand them being touched anymore :-(

Just to add to those (scarily) few voices - it's not breastfeeding that makes your boobs sag, it's pregnancy - and gravity!

i definitely agree its pregnancy my arse as done the same as the boobs :( although slightly off topic for some weird reason my boobs are going through a growth spurt (3 years after having ds and nearing 30) my boobs have gone from a 34c to a 34DD in the space of a few months?

Not much here. I still pass the pencil test. Few very faint white stretch marks and a slight change of nipple shape, more oval than round. I bf for about 2 years in total. I like them better for having some history.

I wish mine would fucking shrink. 34f pre-pregnancy, just given up breastfeeding and they are resolutely a 32h. The fuckers.

They have gone from pert 34B to floppy 36C. Convinced it was the bf wot did it. Oh well, they don't look that bad and it is amazing what they can do. Dp and dd2 seem to still like them anyway.

34C before. 34D afterwards. Maybe very slightly saggier but not enough for me to notice / care.

My stomach will never be the same again though :(

I was a 32b pre pregnancy. Went to a 36d in pregnancy then a 30ff while bfing. Loved the free boob job!

Now after having bf for 14 months I am a 30d. Not saggy either so a happy bunny.

I was a 38c before pg, a 40d during, a 38d when bfing for 8 mo. Now ds is 2.6 I am a 34D I m also thinner than pre pg. But with a very crinkley belly :[
