Oops x post!

WhereEaglesDare · 03/01/2012 00:46

Worra, you are totally right.....water,electricity,heating,food,school things, clothes, odd day out...My goodness, she doesn't have to justify every single expense...that's insane. Maybe some big things ,like trips or holidays, where more money needs to be used, but day to day things, absolutely NOT....

BasilRathbone · 03/01/2012 00:46

Is this thread actually for real?

Surely it's a wind-up?

To be fair, £200 is a nice amount to get for one child. I get the same for two, and that is roughly what the CSA say I should get from my ex's above minimum wage job.

You need to advise your cocklodger to pay through the CSA and apply for visitation, if not, custody. Or you need to butt out of his parenting and leave him to it. Work or yourself and your child and let him do the same.

lisaro · 03/01/2012 00:47

I think he's a really sad twat who's trying to exert control in a pathetic attempt to attempt to prove he's a man instead of doing what a real man would do. And you're encouraging it.

CatPussRoastingByAnOpenFire · 03/01/2012 00:48

Well its definitely winding me up, Basil! Hmm

festi · 03/01/2012 00:48

So Op now you have a bit more clarity about residancy and a link for support I take it you will be looking into this quite sharply to help lift your step son out of the "at risk" catergory.

What the actual fuck???

CatPussRoastingByAnOpenFire · 03/01/2012 00:49

And in answer to your original post, Yes. It definitely does!

Bogeyface · 03/01/2012 00:51

Festi, I think thats what bugging me most about this thread.

This child is on the "at risk" register and she is bitching about maintenance! Not sure she should be involved in the father getting custody the more I think on it......

WhereEaglesDare · 03/01/2012 00:51

IO hope you will be back to update us......

slavetofilofax · 03/01/2012 00:52

What's the problem Festi? It's true!

Bogeyface · 03/01/2012 00:52

Festi, £200 is anice amount if the alternative is nothing, trust me on this :)

festi · 03/01/2012 00:54

well you and me both know that is not what she is seeking advice for. Im feeling pretty sad for this little boy.

slavetofilofax · 03/01/2012 00:54

It's not even about the alternative being nothing, CSA calculations are not based on what it actually costs to look after a child, it is based on the NRP's income and expenses.

festi · 03/01/2012 00:57

It is better than nothing, granted but I dont think nice is the right word, my ex p paid nothing, he now pays just under that and it probably covers dds school uniform for the year and something towrds the bills. It certainly is no where near half of what I contribute full time.

CatPussRoastingByAnOpenFire · 03/01/2012 01:00

I was going to bed, but this thread has upset me so much, I now need to calm down before I can sleep! Angry
I agree Festi, poor kid! Ive been a small kid stuck in the middle, its shite!

Bogeyface · 03/01/2012 01:01

Very telling that the OP hasnt responded at all to the advice regarding custody other than to say it is impossible when clearly it isnt.

Hmm
NanaNina · 03/01/2012 01:02

OP - I think you should post in "step parenting" where you will get more support. People who have never been step parents just don't understand the issues that cause so much tension and stress in step parenting relationships.

CatPussRoastingByAnOpenFire · 03/01/2012 01:03

I understand the issues very well. And Im still disgusted!

Nicc21 · 03/01/2012 01:07

Im new to this website and i dont really know how it works it was recommended by my friend who loves it but i really dont see it, why do you all judge me so quickly? I might be a few things but i dont judge people for having there own views on things that i would think differently about

You asked a question. I think you've had your answer. Why are you still whining?
