mole I'm doing ok, dps ssp has still not arrived and the cars catalytic converter went on the 24th --bastard thing-- but after several long talks with my bank manager they've agreed to remove my overdraft until finances are sorted meaning ctc and chb is now accessible instead of being swallowed by charges and were coping. When dps ssp is sorted I can go in and they'll take small weekly amounts. Things are almost under control. The advice of mumsnetters helped me a lot there as I had no idea of my rights etc.

The children are happy and enjoyed every second of christmas and me and dp are getting there and talking more, and now the physical pain of the mmc has subsided its easier to move on, I've also opened up a lot more to my family so they're a bit more supportive in the ways they can be, fingers crossed for 2012 :)

I reeally want to know what happened with the camera memory card. And the aftershave also.

I too want to know about the OP who's Mad MIL kicked them out as the DIL was not real family. I'm sure she's the mad woman who glued the pages of a book together so the kids could only read about Christianity.

I want to know what happened with the little boy who had lost his favourite toy 2 years ago (think it was a knitted monkey), and his mum found a replacement on here before Xmas. She was going to give it to him on Christmas Day infront of his Grandad who had bought the monkey when he was a baby, and was also upset when it was lost.

But have to say to JJ and others in the same position. Your bank should not take your benefits to offset overdraft if you tell them not to. It's called something like "rights of appropriation"
