What about the postabout the woman working with a really little shit who was constantly trying to make out to others she couldnt do her job. I think he cancelled the office xmas party on the sly.

jetset I think that one had a happy outcome for her - she stood up to him and started pulling him up on everything, he then left her alone but picked on someone else that she knew, but he didn't know she knew, she put the new picked on person wise, and they showed him up in a big meeting in front of the big boss (something to do with storing instant messages iirc)

Is it bad form to ask posters directly for an update? On unrelated threads that you might see them on, for example?

I would say it is bad form to take someone else's thread off-topic, but perfectly acceptable to ask on the original thread.

Trouble is the original thread will have dropped off the OP's "threads I'm on" and they won't see the begging for updates.

I would say you could either PM the person or like percy said ask on the original thread. Unless its a chatty thread (the unrelated one you saw them on) and you feel like you can, but I wouldn't if its a serious thread where someone has asked for advice or whatever and the subject is changed.

Katisha would it not get bumped back in? It would at least get bumped into active for a short time. It would also be in threads I started.

If you post on the old thread it will bring it back up to the top though.

Well, if we're talking old threads, did we ever find out what happened to starsnstripes who asked if she WBU to ask her H to pick up some milk on the way home and gradually revealed an awful life with him. She did leave him, I believe, but I sometimes wonder how she is getting on. Anyone know?
