just an update on the PFB thread for those that asked.

pIL made it very clear that DN was not getting her own room. They came and SIL was very whiney the whole time. My highlights were:

SIL complaining how stressful and hard work it is
raising a child (to us, we have 4 DC)

SIL telling me how tough it was to give up her high paying important job, to me, who gave up a PT, badly paying job which I loved.

all par for the course really

It was quite a while ago, but I wondered about the thread where the poster had a friend she thought was faking a pregnancy! Does anyone know?
