to just be a bit shocked by what I found on our computer today?

Well only a little bit. Long story but bear with me...

I am currently trying to download iCloud. It says to go to Networks and Sharing. Well it wasn't there, but access to my dh's files was. His pictures file. Now I know he collects pictures of nude wimmin because I've seen him looking at them before. So I thought I'd take a peek at the kind of thing he was looking at. It was pretty harmless, just lots of posed pictures of naked women, etc. That wasn't what shocked me.

There were over 13,000 pictures.

It was like a fucking library. There were folders, sub-folders, categories, sub-categories, different fetishes, a whole folder full of folders of different women with hundreds of pictures of them in each one (and each one was named!) not to mention folders of lingerie, etc.

Now I know I probably got what I deserved, but 13,000? That's bloody years of collecting it. There's no way I'm going to tell him I've seen it. I didn't touch it, just looked through it. He obviously doesn't know I can find it.

I feel like I ought to be impressed at the sheer scale of it. I'm tempted to move it and wait for him to start asking panicky questions about whether the computer has gone wrong or not.

i would be majorly pissed off to find 1 picture of a naked women on the computer.

If I knew a woman with 13000 pictures of naked men i'd also think they were a perverted sad act im afraid! I can just picture him sat salivating at his computer! Dont tell me he's the type to have those very 'tasteful' tattoos of naked ladies about his person too?

omg...i am sorry op. I would be devastated ...but ,could it be one of those things ,that he wanted to save one and it saved the whole file (maybe i am bit naive ) ....because that is a LOT. I would show him that and,calmly as much as you can , ask him WTF is that???????Hope for your sake, there is really GOOD and RATIONAL explanation...........Xmas Sad

I haven't got a mmory stick or external hard drive, unfortunately, but I have moved them and changed their names so he can't find them.

Going to wait now.

Going to have to stop myself laughing every time I see him.

Going to have to check them again. If I see any that look like they were taken in someone's house, or somewhere that looks familiar, or god forbid if I recognise anyone in them, my god is he going to get it.

I ought to be angry really, oughtn't I? Think I'm still shocked.

Crikey.THIRTEEN THOUSAND PICTURES? what on earth is he looking for? Is there some bizarre body type he hasn't found yet? or is he working on compiling nudey shots of the whole of the UK? I would be gutted at this,but I suppose you knew about the pictures anyway,just not the sheer scale of his obsession.Could he not take up chess instead,or trains or something?

Perhaps mention that the computer's been running slow lately and you're thinking about taking it to be "looked at" by the free PC clinic that the local police are running. Smile

I would be really shocked too, but I wouldn't be angry! I just think it's a pretty impressive collection! It strikes me as more geeky than pervy tbh.

ageperfect would you really be devastated? I would take the piss, and maybe hide them, maybe tell some friends or something.... but devastated??

If this was my DH I wouldn't be bothered by the odd picture of a naked lady but the sheer scale of this would upset me. It seems quite obsessive behaviour tbh, the filing and cataloguing. Can't he do some DIY if he has so much spare time?

My ex had porn mags. Under the bed the pics in those were close up pussy shots not tasteful at all. Hundreds of them, never bothered me at all.nowadaysits computers.who care sat least they aren't all vag shots.

Sorry my post is shit. The scale is because it's the computer age.its easy to click and save. Takes mins. Now if he had scrap books and they wee cut out and glud that would take ages.
