So let me get this straight...Chaos has problems with Beertricks not capitalising the t while being famous for her own err...typos Xmas Grin

YANBU. Totally agree its tricky to get LO into car seat in a normal space - you do need to open the door pretty wide to do it. Am sure once he's older & can get in by himself it won't be so much of an issue but for now it is.

Irritates the F* out of me when folks use them when clearly no children in sight.

oops sorry forgot to say...

Happy New Year Chao Xmas Smile

We were bad a couple of days ago. We parked in a Parents with Prams space in the carpark. We didn't have a pram, but we did have a carseat and a just-4yo with us. No one challenged us

I like that we have Parents with Prams/Strollers signs - kind of gives us a clue as to how far we can take the piss to push the limits of P&C spaces. Xmas Grin

Forget Parent and Baby parking spaces I want special parking spaces for when I take my Mum out shopping, she is not disabled but getting older/stiffer/awkward and needs to open the door wider and bang the door off the next car so plse can I have a bigger space for her plse. I am ok with tossing the toddlers in over the front seat and leaning back to strap them in

RockStockAndTwoOpenBottles · 29/12/2011 13:57

canyou I suggest you get a truck and park WTF you want frankly. You could have a slide attachment to shove push her down. She will probably enjoy it too. Preferably sideways to really piss people off. I know that's what I shall be doing. I find my car can only do two spaces sideways at the moment, I shall be getting a Hummer limo next time.

TiggyD · 29/12/2011 14:37

I think people with sports cars should be able to use parents' and disabled people's spaces because Ferraris and Lamborghini are wider than normal cars. Making them used regular spaces would be racist to rich people.

TandB · 29/12/2011 14:51

I couldn't find a parent and child space to park in at the hospital. Otherwise I would have done, and I would have glared defiantly at anyone who dared to suggest that an in utero child did not count.

canyou · 29/12/2011 15:50

kungfu, they are usually near the door of the hosp next to the disabled spaces blocked by ambulances or at least they are around here. Oh and it is ok to block them here as the hospital is currently a child free zone due to winter vomiting bug
