How often do you see a man you find physically attractive in real life?

Just wondering. I realised today how rare this was for me.

I find my husband attractive. Bizarrely more so simply by being out the house. I saw him in the park today and really fancied him, just as a man. Albeit one that happened to have our kids playing with him. I found myself watching and admiring his shoulders, profile and arse.

I also found myself thinking that outside DH I have only seen 3 instantly physically attractive men in 10 years. The screen seems full of them. Just wondering how attraction works for other people. Also whether seeing your OHs in a different setting makes them more attractive?

Not often. Maybe once every six months. I find my DP incredibly attractive as a man too. Seeing him standing on the bus or in a shop still makes my heart skip a beat. Swoooon.

I was in waitrose a few weeks ago and saw a man so handsome that he looked like he was chiseled from marble. I had to text my DP to tell him However, whilst I admired his beauty I didn't fancy him. Lots of guys are physically attractive but I'm always attracted to men who are kind and make me laugh.

Have namechanged for this as my family would recognise my usual name (family joke). But I see a man I fancy EVERY DAY. A man at work, who is just so delicious. I love my job.

Not often, if we are talking about random strangers.

I mean, I see men that I know are nice looking or handsome or that other people would fancy all the time, but it's not that often that I see one that I find physically attractive to me.

I think the last random, attractive stranger I saw was working in Toys R Us (of all the places) in the summer this year, when we had this brief moment of eye contact before I turned bright red and disappeared behind a display of backpacks and flasks with names on them.

Was thinking the same, especially given the standard MN fayre of "DH Is a bastard because...." the other 51 weeks of the year.

I don't fancy 'good looking men'. I fancy men who have a mischievous twinkle in their eye.

I suppose it's because looks fade but I've seen that twinkle in men in their 60s and thought "oooh". It's the twinkle that means life would never be boring. And I don't mean crazy or reckless, or even particularly exciting, just that spark of life that means they 'haven't let the bastards grind them down'!

That's what I like. I find the chiselled jaw 'good looking' men a bit boring physically.

So in answer to the question, I see lots of people, men and women who I think are physically attractive every day.

But in terms of the ones I find attractive. Not so often - I have to see the twinkle!

Just seen this old thread..... new guy at work started today feel like Im 13 all over again! I just stood and stared at him whilst he chatted away to someone else..... this never happens to me!
