How often do you see a man you find physically attractive in real life?

Just wondering. I realised today how rare this was for me.

I find my husband attractive. Bizarrely more so simply by being out the house. I saw him in the park today and really fancied him, just as a man. Albeit one that happened to have our kids playing with him. I found myself watching and admiring his shoulders, profile and arse.

I also found myself thinking that outside DH I have only seen 3 instantly physically attractive men in 10 years. The screen seems full of them. Just wondering how attraction works for other people. Also whether seeing your OHs in a different setting makes them more attractive?

Almost never, but onscreen and at gigs all the time.

I had that male model experience in Leicester Sq once when a david gandy type walked past - I was so shocked at the way he looked I was temporarily completely taken aback - I had never seen a man in real life look like that before.

I think its much more common for us to see stunning women than men as there are more ways for women to look stunning iyswim.

God, now I am worrying, I swoon at boys men on a daily basis. If I tell you that I am at uni and 36 years of age that makes it much worse doesn't it? ??

at work we had a junior doctor who was so beautiful no-one could concentrate in meetings. thank god he left, otherwise there would have probably been some fatal cockup or other.

My Dad, DH, and I in a pub a few years ago...DH goes to toilet. Five minutes later I see a man across a heaving bar and think 'PHWOARR', then realise it's DH.

Same effect I experienced when I saw him for the very first time 20 years ago.

Very very rarely. I may see someone I think is quite stunning but they are usually not 'my type'. dh however, oh yes.

The junior doctor who examined me for an STD when I was a gibbering mess was absolutely fucking gorgeous, oddly he didn't seem interested other than in a medical capacity, I wonder why?

I was honestly going to say no one. Sex drive packed up and gone on permanent vacation following birth of DS2. The way I feel now I'd be happy never to want to do the deed again. Thus no man hold's much of an attraction.

Even my long term crush Robert Downey Jr. Couldn't tempt me. Before I was pregnant with DS1 I went to a friend's aid in casualty. The doctor (whose name I still remember) was the most beautiful man I have ever seen. She was recovering from a panic attack and hunky doc and I were having a good ole fashioned flirt. What a great pal I am. Hmmmm.

I have a colleague who is proper eye candy. but his personality is not as stunning.
dh on the other hand is georgeous inside and out :o especially just before sporting competition

I see a lot of attractive men but then I go to the gym and out to bars etc quite often and I suppose these are places where many men are consciously trying to look their best and I am a shameless floozy.

I would never openly gaze at someone in front of my husband and I do still find him very attractive but I will admit to a sneaky peek now and then. I think it's partly down to the time of the month as the week before my period I turn into a raging pervert blame the hormones.

I met the boxer Joe Calzaghe (sp) in a restaurant once and it wasn't his looks but his presence that was immediately sexy iykwim.

My dh is Spanish . In Spain good looking men are ten a penny.
The most stunning looking man i have ever seen was an Irish PRIEST. I just thought that it was a crying shame that something so gorgeous had to remain celibate.

Any men I found outrageously attractive, generally i was so in awe of I was quite tongue tied with them or I get lippy in a defensive way. Oh to be cool and collected. Some were so beautiful but didn't live up to the image.

Ooh I saw one 2 weeks ago, about 6' 2", checked shirt, tattoos, perfect stubble, black hair and right jeans and biker boots, he was just some kind of rock god...I almost dared myself to go up to him and ask if he was married!

Scented - if his dad is anything like him your mother is a lucky woman! I don't follow boxing so didn't know who he was until DH dragged me over but he raised the temperature by about two degrees just by walking into the room!
