...to not understand why Greggs sausage rolls are so bad?

I've just seen yet another thread in which Greggs sausage rolls are deemed bad food for toddlers (mentioned along with McDonalds, fruit shoots etc.)

Am I missing something? I really don't understand... Surely they are just pastry and sausagemeat? Are they any worse than other sausage rolls?

Carabos

It was either 4 years ago or 7 years ago. I have a vague recollection of going there when one of the kids was about 1, but I can't remember which one. Grin

I think it still had the cafe until it finally closed a year or so ago.

I was more miffed about Josephs' toy shop closing down around about the time we finally got around to having dc1. :)

A lot of the Calabasha stories were apocryphal - she's broken more arms than had hot dinners if they're all to be believed, but no doubt about it, she was a piece of work. I understand that she was finally eventually prosecuted.
In her defence , in the year of the strike, which was my 'O' level year, I had 1:1 tuition from her for maths and she was fantastic - a different person and excellent teacher ( can't believe I'm saying that!)

She did Gen Studies with us in sixth form and she was actually very funny. Still see her around from time to time. Not in Greggs though!

I'm so shocked the poster doesn't know whats wrong with sausagerolls!! Yes all sausage rolls are crap - butter (unhealthy saturated fat), salt and fatty meat with low meat content. Such rubbish food for a toddler to eat weekly.
