to want some assistance in the house at the weekend even though I only

work about 8 hours a week outside the home and dc are at school.

I appreciate i have it easier during the week. I can get most of the housework done whilst dc are at school.

However, at the weekend dh does sweet fa.

i do the swimming run and virtually all the stuff that needs doing day in day out.

I've said that he should take more interest in the children, but as for the 'fuck all around the house' bit, well, frankly, if I was the dh in this situation I would also expect not to do anything around the house, either.

My job is to earn the money, her's to keep house.

This has NOTHING to do with living in the past or being anti-feminist, I would take the same view of a WOMAN who worked full-time while her husband was a 'sahp' when the children were actually healthy and at school all day!

The opening poster has had it easy for so long that god help her should she ever be a single parent or have to earn money.

I also feel that had a man made this opening post, the responses here would have been much more negative.
