a drunk conversation on a girls night sparked the conversation of shaving down there.... i was very surprised to hear that out of 11 females only 3 still had hair down there.... Its not something i ever thought about before, and in the conversation i was 1 of the 3 that wasn't completely bare down there lol i am now the center of several hairy jokes, which doesn't bother me as they are quite funny... But anyway, as none of us no each other on here my question is are most people bare down there?

'If women have hairy bumcracks they can get clinkers, and heavy periods with a big bush can lead to lovely bloodclots in said bush.'

Do you not understand the concept of washing?!

MillyR · 26/10/2011 14:10

Worraliberty, I think it would be extreme to say that all women who remove hair are disgusted by it; surely it only applies to a minority?

But after the head baldness thread, I feel we are a hair impasse over the willfully bald of both head and fanjo.

MrsStephenFry · 26/10/2011 14:12

You see all the other posts, catgirl? They are from Other People. You think maybe were talking about them, you know, the ones that clearly say that they ARE DISGUSTED WITH THEMSELVES?
If women choose it because they likd it, so what? If they are repulsed by their natural bodies, shouldnt we be asking what the fuck is up with that?

toolittletime89 · 26/10/2011 14:12

This is hilarious!
I do opt for the shaven haven LOL and find "down there hair" pretty ming, but i put that down to being young (22). I tried waxing and got half way through and gave up-OUCH!!
Each to their own i suppose, but my OH would flip if i even allowed a few days stubble to grow :
Good thread OP, n loving the "wookie in my pants" comment from Becaroooo, class!

AKissIsNotAContract · 26/10/2011 14:13

Elladee: yes but as mentioned previously we don't have facilities to wash our cunts in public toilets in this country. In other countries they have those little hose things.

catgirl1976 · 26/10/2011 14:13

Milly - that was not the tone of any of my posts I can assure you.

helendigestives · 26/10/2011 14:15

All hair-growth, all the time. Grin The only body hair I remove is when occasionally plucking my eyebrows.

EllaDee · 26/10/2011 14:15

I have never managed to get clots of blood or poo in my bush. I have no idea what you are doing if you manage that, but it sounds deeply unhygienic. I can't imagine it is good to be smearing blood/poo over recently waxed or shaved skin either.

Honestly, if you are struggling so much with this stuff that removing the hair is the answer, see a doctor.

helendigestives · 26/10/2011 14:16

Oh, and I'm twenty-five.

TipOfTheSlung · 26/10/2011 14:17

I have never managed to either Nor does dh need to shave to make his cock look bigger. Thank goodness we're happily married and happy with outselves and each other eh

HowlmoaneeChainClanger · 26/10/2011 14:18

Full growth at the mo - but have shaved lots in the past. I have say I find being bald incredibly sexy - especially when DH "helps" with the shaving and then follows up with a full inspection Grin

MrsStephenFry · 26/10/2011 14:18

If you need to shave so you dont walk around smeared in body fluids you need an eye test and a revision course in potty training.

MardyArsedMidlander · 26/10/2011 14:23

I remember as a child being in the changing room with my Mum and her hippy female friend- whose bush extended right down the insides of her thighs! Even at that age, I thought 'Nah, I don't want that'...

I am no more disgusted by my pubic hair than I am disgusted at my incipient moustache- or the fact that my hair 'naturally' possibly isn't as blonde as it appears.

And wait until you are 80- it all falls out then anyway Grin

AKissIsNotAContract · 26/10/2011 14:24

Elladee: I did frequently get blood in my pubes during a heavy period. Not shit in my crack I hasten to add. What do you expect a doctor would do? I certainly wouldn't want to take anything to stop my periods so for me removing the hair is the answer.

As an aside, what would you expect a doctor to do for someone who was incapable of wiping their arse properly?! I seriously don't think people should be bothering their doctor with such a problem!

Solo · 26/10/2011 14:24

Trimmed, not shaven can't stand being bare, but equally not comfortable with lengthy locks.

TheQueenOfDeDead · 26/10/2011 14:24

If you use sanitary towels then blood in your pubes is going to be a fairly normal consequence wouldn't you think EllaDee Hmm ?

Whatmeworry · 26/10/2011 14:25

For the life of me I don't get why full bush/semi bush/all off is a topic of such vitriol.

Do what thou will etc etc!

AKissIsNotAContract · 26/10/2011 14:26

thank you TheQueen. I was starting to think I was some kind of unclean freak.

TheQueenOfDeDead · 26/10/2011 14:28

And really this whole "it makes you look like a child and therefore anyone who prefers to be hair free clearly wants to look like a child and is trying to please her obviously paedo partner" routine is tiresome in the extreme.

I have had 4 kids. I have a waist and 32E tits. No amount of waxing is going to make me look like a kid.

valiumredhead · 26/10/2011 14:28

Its the negative remarks about themselves tgat are depressing. The opinion that hairless looks childish is hardly contraversial, however the comments from women saying hair is eww and yucky are far worse. Think about it

I agree.

worraliberty · 26/10/2011 14:28

Seeing such anger over other people's choice of fanny look makes me wonder if people are angry because they'd quite like to try it....but for whatever reason they feel they're unable to?

Most strange to be so fussed about the fanjo of an internet stranger Grin

TheQueenOfDeDead · 26/10/2011 14:30

Ah I see the ^ above point has already been made Grin

MrsOzz · 26/10/2011 14:32

Worraliberty - I wondered that also. For all of us who 'maintain' the bush to some extent, have also been au natural at some point in our lives. But those who leave the bush to grow, may have never experienced a trimmed/waxed/shaved bush. So therefore, are not qualified to comment on which they prefer!

MillyR · 26/10/2011 14:39

I think you will find that people are generally born without pubic hair, so they generally have experienced pubic baldness.

On the other hand, I was born with a full head of hair, which my explain my extreme response to head baldness in others. Perhaps I am envious of their broader hair experiences.

Witchofthenorth · 26/10/2011 14:41

A liberal application of veet all over said fanjo and up the butt crack ensures I am hair free. I find it the best way TBH and with a ver pregnant belly hiding my fanjo, it is the easiest way to landscape down there. I don't do it because of porn, I don't do it because my DH wants me to ( he couldn't care less either way), I do it because I personally find it more hygienic (I wash every day btw) and it itches if I let it get out of control :o
I do, however, find it more of a turn on if DH does a bit "manscaping" on his bits :o:o
