I was up for it being funny but didn't think it was...could've been if it was less obvious. Think mnetters are generally up for good-natured piss-taking, but this just wasn't all that clever. IMHO.

yeah I think it was funny, and very well presented. But it's a piss take not a balanced view of the forum. But thats ok we should be able to laugh at ourselves, and not get humpy if someone does it for us [hgrin]

Should have been funny/ could have been funny but just too cliched and boring. I think the word would be predictable. If you want to laugh at Mumsnet, and who wouldn't want to, try and be original. It's one of these age old traps where the people who don't laugh "have no sense of humour". Wrong - just not funny.

Now me - I am a gas, a laugh a minute, a real stand up. Oh - am I a comedienne too?! No, I'm just a frustrated English teacher with a low boredom threshold and no tolerance.
