He's a musician so he tours. I'm a SAHM who does occasional writing work. We have 3DCs (7 & under) so life is busy.
He's away now and we are rowing a the time because I feel so tired. I don't sleep well so I feel crap in the daytime and find parenting very difficult when this tired. I know it's my job to parent and run the house but if I let off steam surely he could just let it wash over him or tell me what a fab job I'm doing? Or AIBU?

Hello all, just wanted to let you know We had a lovely break, got some time off and began enjoying my kids again. Haven't felt depressed for ages so didn't collect the drugs but will still go for the cbt as it's booked in and will help anyway. I'm hoping to use this boost to ensure I get a break at some point during the week, and want to incorporate other changes too. But just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your kind supportive words. x

Hey, Tuppenny, I was only thinking of you yesterday, wondering how your holiday was! So glad you enjoyed it.

Are you still thinking of having someone to help you with the children?

NorfolkBroad · 29/08/2011 16:16

Well done Tuppeny, so lovely to hear that things are better for you. Also glad you had a great holiday. Hope the cbt goes well for you. It's a really good idea.

imperial yes I'm thinking of getting a local au pair to do some hours for me so I get a little child free time for a few hours. Going to use the time to do food shop and go to library/write.

norfolk yes I think the CBT will be useful for me as I need help learning to stay calm when all goes pete tong here!

No, no, no, Tuppenny! Shop online and write twice the amount! Any idea what you are going to write?

dreamingbohemian · 30/08/2011 17:33

Glad you had a good time!

Imperial is right, do not use 'Tuppeny time' for errands!

Does anyone else think Tuppeny is married to Gary Barlow? Grin

If it makes you feel better, he's fab on the X Factor Grin
