AIBU to shoplift from Superdrug?

I have been using this cream eye shadow for ages. I can find it only on Superdrug.
First it was from one company that does not make it anymore so I had to move on to another more expensive..3x more expensive...anyway I was happily buiyng it always when I neede but could not bring myself to stock it because would feel guilty as the thingy is nearly £15 (it is a small round pot of eye cream shadow!)
Anyway, last time I went to Superdrug just to buy it as I was runing out, and could not find my colour...so I asked the lady who works in the make up session if there was any similar product from other maker and she said, no there wasnt and that maker would also stop making that product and they would not receive NONE anymore...it is all finished.
I could not help myself, I mean..I helped myself with the tester one that was there intacted...opened but new...
Now, it looks like I am the only person in the world who likes that thing doesn't it?

I know we've moved off this, but the word is "hypocrite".

I know nowadays it's the thing to pretend that spelling and grammar aren't important, but I wish more people on chat boards would steal dictionaries.

OP - there is one fundamental difference between us - you are a criminal and I am not. Guess that makes me, and the others with detrimental views of you, the better person (in this matter!).

I got a pasting on here because i kept a tenner that i found in the change thingy at the self service till.

And i once had a foreign student come back to the till and ask me tearfully about her 'lost' change because she hadn't seen the dispenser which was much lower down than the coins one.

It was still lying there much to her relief.

JanMorrow · 19/07/2011 13:43

Oo I got deleted, now I look like a big criminal! I'm not! I'm not!

Pin0t · 19/07/2011 13:46

Beer You do make me laugh Grin

CupcakesandTwunting · 19/07/2011 13:47

Oooh you are naughty, Jan. Naughty, naughty woman.

CupcakesandTwunting · 19/07/2011 13:48

Incidentally, using Touche Eclat on the face has much the same effect as daubing your face in actual highlighter.

This type of thread is the reason my house is a wreck and I have a pile of ironing winking at me.

I luff it.

JanMorrow · 19/07/2011 14:01

Ironing is for pansies.

Pin0t · 19/07/2011 14:02

I concur.

I've recently bought my first pot of erase paste, I'm in LOVE. It stays on all day and gets rid of the purple smudges that permenantly reside under my eyes.

valiumredhead · 19/07/2011 14:48

Have I missed the make up eye shadow it is - £15 in Superdrug? Seriously? Grin

valiumredhead · 19/07/2011 14:49

Would Erase Paste work on redness?

Pin0t · 19/07/2011 14:52

What is this erase paste of which you speak?

And only a tenner!

Hope it's not like Bad Gal mascara - what a waste of £14 THAT was!

bubblesincoffee · 19/07/2011 15:02

OP, it was me that first mentioned Harrods, I was being sarcastic, not hypocritical.

Erase paste is a benefit product, very good, but it's a bit thick for me. It really does cover anything though, but it only comes in three shades so you have to make sure one of them is actually your colour. I prefer benefit boing concealer for under eye darkness.
