I walked straight out, but have nowhere to go. No stuff. My little boy is asleep in the house. I was away on a course but couldn't stand to stay at the rubbish travel lodge for the night so drove for hours and just got home. Andmy husband was on the sofa with a woman. Very blonde but didn't see much else and they were drinking and looked like they'd just jumped apart when they heard the door. I'm shaking. I don't know where to go. My son is in the house. How could he?????

I'm sure petty bickering is really helping vicar, but just in case it isn't how about we stop it and just offer support until she feels able to pop back on and update us...If she ever feels like doing so.

Lizzylou · 08/06/2011 18:34

Thank the Lord for Jaq the voice of reason.

Hope you are OK, Vicar. Please feel that you can come back and offload if you need to, or take advantage of those kind posters who have suggested you PM them.
Take care.

Boozilla · 08/06/2011 18:37

Just checking to see how you're is doing. This thread has actually left ME quite shaken so I can only imagine what you must be feeling MoreWineVicar.
Hope you're ok

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 08/06/2011 18:58

Wish the op would let us know she is ok

Sn0wflake · 08/06/2011 19:02

Hope you are OK.

LostMyIdentityAlongTheWay · 08/06/2011 19:07

Well, and now we're on page - what? 27? I do hope that all is alright. Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

AttillaTheMum · 08/06/2011 19:11

I have just read this, I really feel for you, but don't think I can add any more that other posters have.

Please check in, just to let us know you are okay.

PercyPigPie · 08/06/2011 19:23

What are you thinking LostMyID? Nothing too dramatic/sinister I hope? Sad

Do you think the op's taken him back?

OnlyWantsOne · 08/06/2011 19:32

She's thinking troll.

I'm thinking I need wine.

Hope the OP is ok.

JamieAgain · 08/06/2011 19:33

Bollocks. Sometimes people have got better things to do when their lives are falling apart than to keep MN updated

Lipstickgal · 08/06/2011 19:34

Crystalglasses yep indeed I do.

GypsyMoth · 08/06/2011 19:34

always a possibility with this place lately!!

JamieAgain · 08/06/2011 19:35

Opols for the bollocks. Unnecessarily aggressive on my part

LostMyIdentityAlongTheWay · 08/06/2011 19:43

Jamie, don't worry, no apologies needed. Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of the shit's hit the fan big style and MN is the last thing she'll be doing.
Trust me - if I think it's trolling, I will say so! (actually, bollocks was quite restrained! I've had worse!!)

LouMacca · 08/06/2011 19:44

Could be any number of reasons OP not come back yet. Maybe problem with internet connection/laptop/things have escalated. I'm convinced that this is genuine.

PinotGrigiosKittens · 08/06/2011 19:46

I hope she's OK :(

FairhairedandFrustrated · 08/06/2011 19:50

Oh, just read this vicar, my heart goes out to you.

Thinking of you & your little boy x

MumblingRagDoll · 08/06/2011 19:55

How odd...to repeatedly post here! The OP will be back if she wants and then people will see it in their active convos....I dont' understand why people are debating on this thread.

How about leaving it alone so it doesn't fill up and then the OP can come back when she's ready...if she wants....if I were her I wouldn't. There are too many slavering people waiting for an update.

Its not Eastenders ffs.

LostMyIdentityAlongTheWay · 08/06/2011 19:57

OMG - and there it is. The Oxford English Dictionary definition of 'talk about IRONIC'.

Um. No comment.

hugglymugly · 08/06/2011 20:01

I read the OP's first posting as that she instantly knew something was wrong the moment she walked into the house. She was there, she saw what she saw, and that was her immediate assessment of the situation.

I think it's a bit sad that, for a few, it was her husband's subsequent behaviour that seems to have validated her initial assessment. Should we always wait for corroborative evidence before we believe?

Greenstocking · 08/06/2011 20:05

Huggly, I think we can only go by our own experiences though.

If I walked in on my DH sitting beside a woman having a drink like that I genuinely , absolutely would not think he was dicking around.

but that is MY marriage and no one else's.

Portofino · 08/06/2011 20:05

Our only role in this should be to support the OP - whatever she chooses to do. We shouldn't be speculating on what he did do, or didn't do as we have no clue.
