I, along with most women I imagine are grateful that women fought to give us a vote.....

However I believe that things have gone to far..I hate women who moan and bitch about how they can't have everything!!!!!!!!

No your damn right you can not have everything ...if you go to work full time when your children are young, YOU WILL MISS OUT!!!!!

Why should women have it all???

I believe that most feminists think that they are more worthy of having everything then men and guess what you are wrong...men dont have it all...most men still work full time and still miss out on their children..

Men used to provide for their families...Men used to have a little pride...I don't think that that those women all those years ago wanted things to go this far...where some women see men as useless and think they can do everthing with out them..including having children...fair enough if you split up and you end up a single mum thats one thing but choosing to have a baby alone is just plain selfish....women should not be allowed to use a sperm doner if they are single..

So you feminists who think you are better then men and that you can have everything..YOU ARE WRONG...I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that you should start a new AIBU thread Casey - that illegal immigrants are responsible for the increasing level of violence Hmm

Are you a Daily Mail reader perchance?

ChristinedePizan · 05/06/2011 20:55

lol - obviously that's a lot less offensive.

Jesus wept. I'm going to do something else now. This conversation is too stupid for words.

AyeRobot · 05/06/2011 20:56

Oh my god. Thank you, primalscream.

I think I need that other glass of wine now.

Casey76 · 05/06/2011 20:57

Primalscream...AyeRobot is able to speak for herself believe it or not...and also it wasn't that long ago that she was calling me a troll and asking if I was a man...yet she still posts?

I would love for it to be the other way rfound just for you to be honest because you really do not have a clue

as for the figures they are the ones you sent me you need to read the whole thing rather than picking out little bits that excite you for being treated sooo bad as a women
good greif ....

Casey76 · 05/06/2011 20:59

Am laughing but have horrible feeling this might not be a wind up, that people could actually be this thick.

Can people be this thick or is it my mental disorder playing up again?

happy4eva · 05/06/2011 21:03

Equal rights are good good good as long as they are what they say HUMAN EQUAL RIGHTS.

Im happy now :)

Casey76 · 05/06/2011 21:03

MitchiestInge calling people thick because they have different opinions to you is beyond thick so fuck off to another thread where you can get your ego stroked...which is the only thing the 'feminists' on here seem to want!

Casey76

haha :)

AnnieLobeseder · 05/06/2011 21:05

I answered your question to AyeRobot, Casey. Have you got a response?

AyeRobot · 05/06/2011 21:05

I'm passionate about equality. Are you?

Equal Pay - The Facts

MitchiestInge · 05/06/2011 21:05

Now I know this is a joke!

MurphyWasAnOptimist · 05/06/2011 21:06

Casey, being interested in a question doesn't usually involve saying 'you are wrong...I feel sorry for you'. That's being inflammatory so if people respond in kind, you can hardly blame them, especially since you are espousing views about women and their role in society which would probably go down quite well in Iran.

Tambern · 05/06/2011 21:11

I'm hoping this thread is a wind-up and I've left my sense of humour in the wash. Because otherwise it's a depressing inditement of our society.

happy4eva · 05/06/2011 21:12

Sorry it is low payed for jobs that most women get into that is a fact but men and women in the SAME job on the SAME pay role and the SAME contract get payed the same ...

Examples job in a average nursery min wage male/female
Job in an office answering phones normally about 9p/h male/female
TRained jobs school teachers social workers lawyers ect on a set salary on level of qualification again though will be the same pay whether or not you male/female..

Alot of women choice jobs such as cleaning, childcare reception ect... which are all quite low pay

Men tend to go for trade work building etc which because of the need and money making bosses can get out of the work is paid very nicely..

Its not down to the sex its down to the type of work

MitchiestInge · 05/06/2011 21:15

It's a wind up, check out the apostrophe-free zone above and the disturbing use of ect as abbreviation for et cetera. No actual person could do that over and over again unless it was deliberate?

AnnieLobeseder · 05/06/2011 21:15

"Its not down to the sex its down to the type of work"

Um, yes, that's the problem - there are "men's" jobs - ie, jobs that women aren't clever enough to do, and "women's" jobs, that men are too good to do. Hence the pay gap between them - men are worth more than women, as things currently stand. Can you not see how horribly wrong it all is?

MitchiestInge · 05/06/2011 21:17

I shouldn't engage but where oh where did you get the idea that lawyers have set salaries like teachers and social workers?

happy4eva · 05/06/2011 21:19

lol sooo over dramitic o its not because it mens job women can do them jobs of course but they choice not to because they do not want to ....
what is wrong with that why didnt you train as a builder if it upses you that much

I would Hate to be a builder good god i would get all sweaty and i cannot lift things anyway because im a tiny women (joke) so good on the husky blokes for doing all that hard work and dam right the pay should reflect that but women have every right to train as one if they want just as men can train to be a childcarer etc

happy4eva · 05/06/2011 21:19

my sister is a lawyer

happy4eva · 05/06/2011 21:20

and a bloody good one at that :o

BoffinMum · 05/06/2011 21:20

Sorry, did men lose the ability to run a home and look after children when I wasn't looking?

And did women lose the ability to be financially pro-active?

And where is it written that both sexes can't do both? They do in this house. And my parents split it that way as well. And they are not alone.

happy4eva · 05/06/2011 21:24

YES they can do BOTH they are BOTH EQUAL thank god you said it :)

MitchiestInge · 05/06/2011 21:24

There is not a, how did you phrase it, 'set salary on level of qualification' for lawyers. There's the minimum wage for tc, set by law society, but otherwise it depends who you work for - or if you are a barrister of course.
