My DH thought it was so funny that instead of my usual towels I picked up tena lady instead by mistake. He now thinks I've a bladder weakness and told DD I'll be wearing nappies soon. Not had a weak bladder since I was pregnant. Silly man.
Luckily I saw the funny of side of it unlike my poor friend who sat there openmouthed.

Then all I can say is do a serious thread then. Some want to know all the facts about it which I don't have.

I'm really sorry for what people have been through and can only begin to understand what you've been through but I shall give you an exsample.

I'm bi polar and when I was younger people used to use the word "crazy" alot mostly to eachother and not me "You're crazy Anna!", "You're a bloody nut case Jonny" "That ryan isn't right in the head" I can remember telling my mum that I was abit upset about it and she LAUGHED. Yup put a big bad mum sign on her forehead :o.

She told me that people couldn't possibly know that I was bipolar unless they knew me really well so it would be very silly of me to take such things personally and that I would be a very unhappy person if I took everything to heart. She said that if a person called me any of these names in relation to my mental illness that THAT would be wrong because their aim in this would be to make me feel personally unhappy. From that day on I have never looked back and can laugh along with people because life is full of these situations you simply cannot take everything personally.

Carry on discussing it Booy but I will ignore you from now on as you cleary don't know how a discussion works.
