OP: How long do I need to cook a soft boiled egg for?

Answer: Soft boiled eggs are very high in cholesterol you know. Why not have some steamed fish?

Answer: Why are you cooking at this time of day?

Answer: Are you pregnant OP? Because you shouldn't eat them soft boiled if you are.

Answer: Have you thought about going on a cookery course OP? Sure Start are running them these days.

Answer: Leave the bastard!!

This often happens on my threads and it would be useful to be able to say without snark "thanks everyone, but can you all stop [insert phrase here] because I really just need to know how long to boil an egg!"

You statement is irrespeculatory and has nothing to do with my OP.

But the cholesterol in eggs is good cholesterol. Have another.

Pagwatch · 05/05/2011 15:11

I am going to start using irrespesculatory in rl. See if anyone calls me on it.

Just don't answer posts you don't want to answer... it's that simple really. Confused

culturemulcher · 05/05/2011 15:19

Good idea.

In a voting mood today, so I'm voting for irrelevanting.

WalterFlipschicks · 05/05/2011 15:19

I'll be honest, I'm actually quite a good cook, but I have no friggin idea how long to boil an egg for as it's not something I do!!
Have probably just shown myself up for being a total egg phillistine Blush
