To be bemused that so many people STILL think James Hewitt is Harry's father...

Confused

Why do people think this? They don't look alike - the only thing they have in common is the red hair, but Hewitt's is wavy, whereas Harry's looks like a loo-brush, not at all dissimilar to Earl Spencer's.

Plus - wouldn't one of the tabloids have swiped a hair off his jacket while rolling out of a club at 3 in the morning, had it analysed and flogged the story by now if there anything even remotely in it at all.

I always think people are a wee bit simple/naive when they trot out this old chestnut. Grin

I mean they did look alike.
But now I think he is solike Charles and Philip. Definately a Windsor!

Yes, it's soooo stupid. As if the Royal family wouldn't have checked this all out themselves at the first sniff of anything untoward. Anyway, apparently they didn't meet until after Harry was born or something. If he was really not Charles', I'm sure he would have been bumped off by now. Definatly all checked and double checked when he was a baby.

atswimtwolengths - their face shape is completely different. Their hair is totally different, even if the same colour.

Ad as I say, wouldn't someone have picked up on it and made their millions in it by now?? There's too much money to be made by a story like that.

Ummmmm superinjunction? There's evidence of Hewitt and Dianas affair at least 2 years before Harry was born. He probably wouldn't be the first royal that wasn't actually a royal! I find the whole thing hilarious?!

15-20 years ago there was another rumour doing the rounds about Prince Andrew. Won't go into the details here, some of you may already know it. But, I was told by several different people that there was a total press embargo on ever actually publishing any details - so much like a super injunction, yes. Perhaps the same is true of Harry's parentage?

So let's just say that it turns out that Harry isn't bologically Charles' son. What would happen then?

MN is full of stories of blended families and people telling other people that all the dc should be treated the same. Should Harry be treated any differently because of it and lose his place in line to the throne even though he has been brought up at the heir's son? I don't think so.

In profile, Harry looks an awful lot like Prince Philip. The likeness between Harry and Hewitt is really only the hair.

There's too much money to be made by a story like that." no, because there's no way of proving it. in order to establish paternity you need DNA from both the child and the supposed father - and even if on the off chance that was possible for a journalist to happen upon such samples and be able to have them annalised the palace would just have to issue an embargo and the story doesn't get published.

He has Charles' ears and his nose and eyes are very much like both Charles and Phillip.

I watched a programme about DNA testing once - it followed all these families where there was doubt about paternity. and they quoted some shocking statistic that something like one in six childrens' paternity was questionable. Shock

He is the spitting image of James Hewett he looks nothing like the Royals at all, of course Hewett is his father it is well known she had an affair with him.

I am not one for conspiracy theories but he really does look like Hewitt! I can see Diana in him, but not Charles!

Nobody could do more than hint at it as their is no proof.
