Yes another wedding based thread.

I think she seems a good egg. And looked lovely today.

Plus there were a few moments where she looked very emotional in the abbey, was very touching.

YABU, she isn't.

ConnorTraceptive · 29/04/2011 20:24

I like camilla. I'm glad her and prince charles got to be with each other in the end.

thisisyesterday · 29/04/2011 20:24

omg! no, she so is not

L8rAllig8r · 29/04/2011 20:25

YABU. I thought she looked thoroughly miserable!

laInfanta · 29/04/2011 20:25

Don't know about national treasure, but I think she seems nice and CHarles and her clearly love each other and are v. dear together

she is pretty unlikeable

tralalala · 29/04/2011 20:26

I actually like her a lot, seems like the least miserable of the lot of the older ones.

GitAwfMayLend · 29/04/2011 20:26

Well, I like her

Perhaps she will be a national treasure of a very small nation of one

chocadoodle · 29/04/2011 20:26

Not sure about National Treasure. But I think she's ok really. Yes she did look nice and I agree I thought she looked emotional during the service. Think it was during the first hymn that was sung (same one as at Diana's funeral)

GitAwfMayLend · 29/04/2011 20:27

Anyone who is mates with Jilly Cooper must be a laugh.

Hengameh · 29/04/2011 20:27

Can't stand her. How can you idolise a woman who was having an affair with another woman's husband?

HalfPastWine · 29/04/2011 20:27

Agree with IaInfanta. You can see they really do love one another which is refreshing.

brookeslay · 29/04/2011 20:27

I like her she is a good mother to her two children and reports are she is very down to earth but not treasure status as the queen mum was.

RtHonLadyEuphemiaOfCaledonia · 29/04/2011 20:27

YABU - she is a conniving cow who conspired with Charles behind Diana's back for years, and behaved despicably towards her family.

SybilBeddows · 29/04/2011 20:27

she goes around cleaning up after Charles, effectively.
when they announced the engagement and the press were asking him about it and he said something grumpy and she chipped in with 'Thrilled. We're completely thrilled.'
IKWYM about her being a treasure. He is very lucky to have her.

microfight · 29/04/2011 20:27

YANBU Although perhaps not a national treasure but certainly makes Charles happy

Alibabaandthe80nappies · 29/04/2011 20:28

YANBU - I think she seems alright, and she gets a hard time. Will and Harry seem genuinely fond of her, and they're probably the best barometer.

I also suspect that she breathed a personal sigh of relief. She is no longer the only commoner married to someone in direct line to the throne, and there is a new, young, pretty princess to take everyone's mind off Diana.

I loved her frock, she always looks good I think.

southeastastra · 29/04/2011 20:28

ooh am just reading 'class' by jilly cooper and everything is making sense suddenly Grin

GitAwfMayLend · 29/04/2011 20:29

Think she said the engagement was 'wicked'

Any pensioner who says wicked gets several treasure points in my book.

Lilmeena · 29/04/2011 20:29

Yabvu - she was a married woman having an affair with a married man - she's shameless.

HalfPastWine · 29/04/2011 20:29

She didn't exactly conspire with Charles behind Diana's back. Diane knew of the affair from the beginning.

Valpollicella · 29/04/2011 20:29

Glad they are happy together

But not sure I can truly like someone who has an affair like that. Shame about all the heartbreak their affair caused.

GitAwfMayLend · 29/04/2011 20:30

I read Class by Jilly Cooper as an impressionable teen.

It has marked my life somewhat Grin

Only peasants say pardon etc.

I'm not a royalist by any means, but I rather like Camilla. And I thought her outfit was one of the nicest today.
